Ok so we all have them! Now lets start a place where we can share them!:cheer2:

Last night I had my first wedding Nightmare!! I drove up to my house and the entire front yard was piled high with wedding presents!:scared1: I had to litterally shimmy my way through this teeny tiny pathway to my front door and upon opening it discovered that my entire house was the same! Piled from floor to ceiling with gifts!:headache:

Why is this a nightmare you ask?:confused3 Because right now DF and I are living with my mother and I am fast running out of storage room in our closet [and it's a walk in!] for our wedding stuff [much less all our day to day stuff!!] I'm really starting to wonder what we're going to do when it comes time to store wedding presents/ and boxes of favors etc.........:sad2:

Alright, I have to post this because it's totally crazy and it just happened 2 nights ago..

So we were all in Disneyworld for our wedding, of course. Me and my girls are in the bride's vestubile and my grandmother (who I do NOT get along with in real life) comes storming in there and goes off on me about everything! How unhappy she is with the way everything looks, etc. So her and I get into this huge screaming match and I'm pretty much chasing her out of the room and outside and EVERYONE is looking at us, so I start crying and saying how no one is supposed to see me and my wedding is ruined! Then she runs down towards the water on the beach saying how this all could've been saved if I'd asked her to dance, and I shouted back "Why would I ask you to dance! We aren't even married yet, nobody is dancing!" and I ran back into the vestibule in hysterics, and somehow my dress got ripped at the bottom and you could see my legs and I was so angry. So my uncle goes and gets her and sorts her out, then our WP comes in to get us and we're all lined up. Then I see Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes get out of a limo and start to walk inside, and their daughter is wearing a blindfold (Yeah, I don't get it either.. and Tom Cruise? I don't even have a thing for Tom Cruise, I never have, and I don't think about him, ever!) and they sat down. Then for some reason our line ends up behind the back row of seats in the pavillion, and as the music starts, I leaned over and thanked Tom and Katie for coming and gave them hugs, and woke up! :rotfl: CRAZY I tell you! Wedding nightmares are the worst!

Most things have been going ok for me. I'm trusting Disney to take car of any glitches the day of.

But can I just say that a wedding has made me realize how much some people surprise me. People you think will be there for you totally flake and then people you never expect really save the day for you. But I do think a destination wedding helps show who really cares for you and makes the effort to be there.

And why is it so hard for people to flippin RSVP? My rsvp date was a month ago and still haven't heard from people. Then when we track them down they "aren't sure yet". I'm like geez is it really that hard to give a yes or no? And then people who say they are coming either cancel at the last minute or bring an extra guest who wasn't invited. I think that has been my biggest nightmare is trying to organize and deal with all the different people. I just can't believe the lack of etiquette anymore! It is hard enough to try to plan a destination wedding but the people not cooperating makes it very difficult. At least i know I will be there having a good time :).

i second (or third) that!! i've been calling everyone and telling them that the wedding planner needs a final number by this weekend (hey, they dont know that's not true). so far i've gotten all but 2 accounted for!!

OMG, ha ha, that's soooo funny! I've done this same. Not only w/my guests but with DF!! :rotfl: Does this make me evil? All I have to say is that it's working! Looks like I'll have my final # by Friday!! :goodvibes

my rsvp date is dec 23. can't come quick enough. i think that's 11 days from now...do i have to wait til then to start pestering? i guess i have to :confused3

My FMIL comes up with at least 3 new people everyday for the guest list...

I had a nightmare that she was marching with the whole country of England behind her demanding that they come to my wedding... :rolleyes1

If that's anyone's nightmare, it should be my father's (:rotfl:) but I really can't stop waking up in the middle of the night because of it... :confused3

I totally agree with this! It's really surprised me too.

My nightmare was that I went to my final alterations for my dress and they died it bright orange and bright turquoise.

a couple weeks ago i had a nightmare that FMIL did not come to our wedding.
i was crying and really upset asking her why she didnt come...her response was that she was too busy cleaning the house to come to our wedding :confused3

weird huh?

Mine was from a couple weeks ago. I had a dream that I was about to walk down the aisle and DF wasn't there . I went to look for him and when I found him I asked him why he didn't show up and all he said was that he forgot.

That dream gives me the funniest mental picture!:rotfl: :rotfl:

It's been a few months since I had this nightmare, but it was quite disturbing and vivid. How many of the details I've held onto, I'm not sure.

Okay, I dream that it's my wedding day and I'm supposed to be getting ready and my dress isn't ready... it's all wrinkled and mussed up! On top of that no one, not me or my MOH and BM have any undergarments. And neither of them even have dresses!!

Then my dreams switch to me driving on M-53 back her in MI and I'm all distraught trying to go get dresses for my attendants and for some reason there is some lady probably in her late 50's, early 60's in the road! On the highway! I hit her with my car and I was so panicked I drug her body into this cave but then I saw some one in the woods watching me. FREAKY!

My real life nightmare is that Disney cancels my wedding b/c FMIL doesn't listen to me and encourages all of her snowbird friends from fort wilderness to come crash the ceremony and sbp!!
