I know this is crazy.....
BUT... can you share with us your Snacks with the MYW dining plan??

I am trying to get an idea of what is available out there.

Also.. what was your best "deal" using the dining plan??
thanks,
catrin :earsboy:

We used most of our snack credits for bottled water. We never paid out of pocket for any drinks, other than the Mugs at the resort.

Other things we did use our snack credits for were:

ITSAKADOOZIE POPS
POPCORN
MICKEY PREMIUM BARS
MICKEY ICE CREAM SANDWICH

We had 12 snack credits the total for our 12 credits was: $27.30

Best deal for us was our Dinner at Concourse Steakhouse and our Dinner at CRT. We ate fantastic food, which I would never have went to without the dining plan because I can not justify a 128.00 dinner then the next night a 119.00 we usually have nice dinners but not quite like that. We usually budget for our meals but with this what budget.

Of course you can. Just watch out for the snack police :teeth:

:confused3

I believe the OP is asking people that have used the plan to share their experiences. Not if you're allowed to share your snacks if you're using the plan. :rotfl:

My son and I used the dining plan last month. We were able to get sodas, water, popcorn, yogurt cups, chocolate cake and cheesecake with our snack options.

I think our best deal with the plan was lunch at Teppanyaki. The bill was over $70.00 for the both of us.

There's no way we would have eaten the way we did without the dining plan. I'm looking forward to using it again in October.

That's the 3rd time today I read a post wrong. I think I need to get off these boards & get some work done.

When I read the title of the post, I thought, "Sure, you can share- but I get the biggest piece of the Mickey bar!" :rotfl:

Seriously, though, we are looking forward to having popcorn, Mickey bars, drinks, Rice Krispie treats, etc. We will probably get some fruit, too- DD gets tired of sugary stuff all the time. DH will like the chips, too.

No pretzels or Churros?

Are they part of the plan? Do they even sell them in orlando?

We have been DisneyLand Annual pass holders for about a decade, but taking the family to Orlando for the first time this Augest. I know the weather but due to the kids academic and sport commitments this is the only time of the year we can make it.

I love Disneyland pretzels and dont get me started on the corndogs. Any chance of either being part of the dining plan?

It seems like the snack options aren't really clear. I have a printout of the dining plan and it lists ice cream, popcorn, fruit, chips, bottled soda/water, and fountain soda/apple juice as the possible options for your snack credits. However, on another thread, someone mentioned using them for rice krispie treats, cookies, and items from the Main Street Bakery. :confused3

Snack items at the Main Street Bakery? I hope that means the big chocolate chip cookies!!!! Yum!!

They just added several items to the snack list recently. Things like rice crispie treats, chips, fruit and yogurt are on the new list.

Where is this new list?

but I hope that they do update it to include more items...especially yougurt, dole whips, rice crispy treats....etc..

Did that info come from a cast member?

Anyone know where I can find the MYW dining plan info without going into a PDF file?

We used the plan last month and loved it. I'm looking forward to using it again in October. I need to know which restaurants have been added and what the new snack options are.

No! the Main Street Bakery lets you use them for drinks, I got a lemonade as a snack there. They are also a counter service. BUT they said to use a counter service you got any 2 items plus a drink. Normally a counter service is really 3 (or more) items plus drink - say hamburger, fries, dessert and drink. So, I didn't use that as a counter service, I paid for the bakery items out of pocket and just had the lemonade as a snack item.

At our Carribean Beach Resort food court, and at Pop's food court I did get Rice Crispy treats. At CBR we also got zucchini bread, banana bread, fruit cup and um, something else... as snacks... basically they said any drink under $2 was included and they were really willing to put a non allowed item as a banana or whatever to get it included. But the rice crispy treats were rung up as rice crispy treats.
