Do you have a particular plan of attack for the parks?

My general plan is to go to the early entry park until lunch, go back to hotel for nap and swim, and switch parks for evening.

At MK, during EE I do the fantasyland rides. I like to be in toontown for ropedrop (is that 10 a.m.?), then head over to frontierland and adventureland. I'm not sure what my fastpass plan will be. I save the tomorrowland things for e-ride night.

At AK, for EE I think we'll head to the safaris to get a fastpass, then go on tough to be a bug. After the safaris, if it's warm, we'll go on the rapid ride.

At MGM, for EE, I want to do the Aerosmith coaster first. Probably will pick up a FP on the way.

I think we'll skip Epcot EE, so no real plan of attack here.

Yes, tootown opens at 10 (my daughter got to open it once and we had a private tour of Mickey's house!

Here's my plan for our 4 day trip 7/31-8/4. We are staying at Courtyard, so no ee for us, but we plan to do enight.
Thurs.: 7/31: Arrive very late go to sleep
Fri.: 8/1: Epcot (PSB at 8:30), Get FP for TT; do mission space (AP preview is the reason we're going down in the first place); TT, Do some futureworld attractions untill lunch. Bach to Hotel to nap.
MK about 7 pm. Do some fantasyland attractions (we have a 4 y.o.). Watch Spectromagic, Do enight untill we can't keep our eyes open.
Sat: 8/2: Sleep in. Do Epcot World showcase in the afternoon.
Sun: 8/3: Either AK or MGM (haven't decided yet-may actually do both)
Mon: 8/4 MK until Lunch then head to airport for 6 pm flight.

We usually don't do the EE. We usually go to the park that had the EE the previous day and be there at park opening and go commando till lunch or a little later and then back top the resort for a few hours of R & R and then to another park for the evening.

I must be out of the loop here, but I thought E-night was only for guests staying at actual Disney Hotels? Please correct me if I am wrong. Does Courtyard qualify?

We pretty much do the same general strategy that most seasoned WDW vets use. Granted, we don't have any kids yet so I'm basing my experience off my many trips with my family growing up and my recent trip with my wife.

-Get up and go to parks early.
-Do as much as you can until early afternoon
-Come back to resort (we always stay on-site) and relax
-Get cleaned up, go out to dinner and go out some more (usually a different park)

MAGIC KINGDOM (things we try to hit by priority):
-Thunder Mountain
-Splash Mountain
-Space Mountain
-Haunted Mansion
-Pirates of the Caribbean (I'm assuming it's packed now :bounce:
-Swiss Tree House
-Tomorrowland Tram

*All of the last 4 can also be great fillers that I'm personally willing to do over and over again while waiting for the big 3 thrill rides since their lines can sometimes be short.

EPCOT:
-Test Track (they DESPERATELY need another ride here regardless of the park's overall philosophy; easily the longest wait times of any WDW attraction because there's no other major rides in the park)
-The Living Seas
-Spaceship Earth (just because)
-Journey Into Imagination
-Mexico (especially San Angel Inn restaurant)
-Pretty much anything in the World Showcase in the evening (best area for restaurants in WDW with Boardwalk only a short stroll/boat ride away)

MGM (our favorite park):
-Tower of Terror (my favorite thrill ride at WDW)
-Rockin Rollercoaster
-MuppetVision 3-D
-Star Tours (freaky that it's now a 'classic' ride; I'm old)
-Great Movie Ride
-Magic of Disney Animation
-Sounds Dangerous (I still like the old audience volunteer version best.)

ANIMAL KINGDOM (only been to once):
-Safari
-Jungle Trek
-African Trail
-Kali River Rapids

Obviously we take in other stuff, but those are the rides/attractions we generally put our priorities on. Some (like most of the Magic Kingdom attractions) are actually more enjoyable in the evening to me personally.

To answer a previous question, EE and E-Night are for WDW resort and S/D guests only.

Our plan is to hit the EE park in time for the rope drop, tour until the crowds get heavy, usually around 1:30, then hop to Epcot, which seems able to absorb crowds better than the other parks. If we're planning on hitting PI that night, we'll freshen up at the hotel, Dolphin last and next time, then go 'clubbing'. Other night time activities are WDW resort touring, DTD, Fantasmic and the pool. We've given up fighting the MK crowds for the nightly parades and watch the fireworks from Gasparilla's at the GF.

Sorry to correct you Bill, but ee is for Disney resorts, S/D, and Hilton DD. Enight is for those listed plus the other "hotel Blvd" hotels, such as courtyard. You can check wdwig.com for details.

Regarding EE at MGM--I don't know if this is typical, but the 1st FP times for RnR started later than the 1st start time for FP on ToT. It was better for us to get a FP for ToT, ride ToT 1st in standby, then RnR in standby. We could repeat ToT once before FP came into play and repeat RnR several times before the queue got bogged down with FP users.

The standby lines flow very quickly early in the morning before the FP lines come into play and the FP line came into play earlier on ToT than it did on RnR. Also, getting a FP with an earlier use time (ToT) allowed us to get another FP (RnR) sooner.

Anyone know if its normal for the FP line at ToT to start up earlier than RnR?
