I've seen a lot of beautiful pets in display pictures and signatures around the DIS, so I thought it might be fun to share our beloved cats/dogs/fish/birds/turtles... whatever! with each other. I'm sure there are lots of other proud "fur moms" and "fur dads" out there.

I'll start with our ten year old Chow Chow. I know Chows don't have the best reputations but our little guy is the sweetest, gentlest dog ever. We don't think he's a purebred but he is so cuddly and always full of surprises. Now that he's older, he's slowed down a bit but he's been a great dog. We absolutely love him! Eddie suffers from really severe allergies and hip dysplasia so he's a bit of a handful, but totally worth it.

We are planning on adding a Miniature Golden Doodle to our family in July and are very excited.

We have one feline child, Apple . We adopted her from the humane society when she was about 8 weeks old and she's now 4 years old. She's a sweetie pie cuddle bug most of the time but she definitely has her moments. And she's spoiled rotten.

I know it may seem surprising, but I have a few fish as my animal companions. XD

My current menagerie consists of two bettas, three ottos, three red crystal shrimp, and three fancy goldfish.

Ophelia and Gilbert (Gilberta, actually) RIP you two (both died in a two hour period, most likely from a heater or filter malfunction. Tank now has new filter and heaters).

Here's the newest guy Jonas (named after the Jonas Brothers, my girls are super fans) He's a corgi/border collie mix

I have my almost 8 yr old Boxer, Merlin.. best dog ever! this pic was taken about 2 weeks ago during our annual family beach house week rental, he went with us and had a blast, except the walking up and down stairs part, hes getting old.

Awww, those are some gorgeous animals! And I love a lot of the different names... Actually, N&Bsmom, my brother has a hamster named Stuart growing up! I completely forgot about that until now.

This is Snowy. He's a little over a year, and we got him about 7 months ago as a stray. He's a very handsome boy, but completely, 100% ROTTEN!

Oh yeah, he's in the sink because he loves to play in the water - he will even get in the shower. I have never, ever seen a cat do that.

Ooohhh, you have and odd-eyed white cat tooo!!! We have or Merlin (the one I posted) and yours looks more like our Guinevere that we lost in 2005. We loooove them
