I remember that thread. I tried to give you a gift, but I couldn't figure out how to post it. I even had a really cool hat picked out, too. I must have left before all the animal excitement.

You left before all the animal excretion too.....lucky you!

You know there is a way to make that image a bit naughty?

If you cut around the bottom edge and up the two sides of the box that she is holding. This creates a bottom opening flap. Then cut out the image of the squash at her knees and tape it underneath the flap that you created by cutting the box. Now, you have a flap that opens to reveal the hooties that the box was hiding.

Sometimes being my father's child is a good thing in a bad way. :rolleyes1

Our lovely little pet just cost me $250 bucks today!!! He got all his vax updated and he has an ear infection and flea medication for 6 months. Ugh.

His undying love and dedication never ceases to amaze me, never letting her out of his site and loving her regardless of her antics.... Do I really need to talk about him more?!

So here's a question for all of you.

Is it possible for dogs to have hay-fever?

Scott and I have been suffering from spring-time allergies like crazy the past week, and we've noticed that Tolliver is sneezing an awful lot, too. Last night he woke us up because he started wheezing and it sounded like he was congested and trying to clear the congestion. (Poor little guy, he didn't know how to react to the over-concerned freaking out doxie daddies.)

So, anyone ever heard of dogs with allergies like hayfever?

Two of my cats are having issues with runny eyes and sneezing.

The air has been pretty nasty the past few days.....

That's kind of what we thought too. Cuz yeah. You can cut the pollen with a knife lately.

We have 3(soon to be 4) cats and I'll try to get photos of them
we also have 2 dogs

Chloe(1/2 beagle 1/2 rotwieler)

and Doby you guessed it a doberman

Chloe was adopted because her family couldn't care for her anymore
Doby was adopted from a Local shelter

our cats

Lenny now about 13y/o - adopted from a feline rescue center
Draco - 4 y/o just started hanging around our yard and when winter came we took him in.
Bill - about 3 y/o decide to move into our basement(we have a cat door) and our DD Alaina was feeding him and next thing we knew we had another cat.

Now Adam -12(a black & white stray) hanging around and he/she is starting to trust us - so we think shortly we will have 4!

I love all our animals - the most loyal and loving creatures I have the privelage to share our home with.

I also feed all the birds in the yard(and squirrels and we have hedgehogs that live under our shed) I have 2 large tray feeders, 4 hanging feeders, 3 birdbathes, 3 suet holders and 1 thistle seed feeder. And in the summer I put out hummingbird feeders and oranges for orioles and catbirds. Okay I am a geek;)

It does get expensive

My best friend and I have a running joke about a goat, actually goats and hippos. (long story). Anyway we buy each other things with goats or hippos on them. I joked with him that I was going to get him a real goat for Christmas. His wife told me not to, but I did anyway. When he opened the card he laughed so hard. I did buy him a goat, it was just with one of those world organizations that send it to a needy family.

Ok our babies:

Penny 13 year old Beagle/Pointer mix
Willy 14 year old Chihuahua
Cagney AKA Meatball 2 year old Mini Pug
Crosby 8month old MiniPug ( Cagney’s nephew)

We got Penny as a baby and it was only the 3 of us for years. Then my dad asked me to watch his Chihuahua when he went on vacation. Apparently (7 years later) he is still on vacation. Cagney I got from my GF Mom for Christmas. She knows my affection for black pugs that I have because I had one when I was younger and my brother……well lets just say she is no longer with us. Cagney was to much for the old ones so we decided to get a playmate for her, hence Crosby. We just had a major scare with him a few weeks ago (and if you are on my face book you can see the pics).

We took him to the vet specialist. She took one look at him and told us she was amazed that he has lived this long! See pugs breathe funny. We knew that but he looked like he had a really difficult time of it. That’s why I wanted him to see the specialist. She wanted to do surgery the next morning! (We had a funeral and were leaving for Denver!!). She said it was important that she was not sure he would make it to the weekend!
We let her do it. She kept us posted. She called 4 times a day! He had an enlarged palette witch had to be removed, two other little ball like things in his neck and a paralyzed larynx (which she sewed open). Because of the distress his breathing airway is also not strong and is collapsing. She was not sure if he would be able to breathe on his own. They took him off the oxygen slowly. They thought he would need a trach! Well he is a fighter and he came home 7 days later. He looked like Franken dog; he had a mountain of staples up his neck. He is a new dog!!! He can actually run up the stairs and chase Cagney around the backyard!!!! He will never bark again but we are very grateful that she saved his little life. The Vet told us most people would just put him down because of the cost and that we should get him fixed because if he ever did have puppies people would just have them destroyed!!!!
