Share your Magical Moments

I've posted in my trip reports below about our magical moments, but I don't mind sharing again :teeth:
My dd got to help open 1900 Park Fare and teach all the adults how to say the magic words: "bibbidi bobbidi boo". Then when the doors open the Fairy Godmother came out and grabbed my dd and exclaimed to the servers and chefs: "Here is Princess Meghann from the Kingdom of NH" and escorted us to our seats. When we were done with dinner we went back out to see the Fairy Godmother to get her to sign a postcard for friends and she hugged my dd and said "goodbye my little princess". I almost cried!

Another was at MGM we were at the rope drop and they were doing a trivia contest. Whoever answered correctly got to ride RNR first with their choice of seats! Well, we answered the question and got the first seats in RNR!

Another was when we got back to our room at asmovies there were balloons and a magical moments certificate and a card wishing me a happy birthday!

And the last one was we were waiting for Toon Town to open at the end near the train. We needed a few more autographs. Then we see all the characters heading in the other direction towards fantasy land. We were so bummed, but then Mickey Mouse himself comes out, grabs my dd and they walk arm in arm into Mickey's house and then into the Judge's tent. Mickey gaves us fast passes for buzz and we got lots of pictures with Mickey. We had him to ourselves for about 5 minutes!

My daughter swears it was the Jasmine crown that was bringing us all of the magical moments, lol :rotfl2: .

Oh and on a trip in 2003, it was my ds 2nd trip there. His first was when he was 18 months old so he of course did remember anything. We went to see Fantasmic and at the end he looked at me and asked if Mickey could come have a sleepover with him:) He was so cute!

Here is the pic from Mickey and my dd:

On our honeymoon trip we had a lot of small magical moments that meant the world to us.

CRT (dinner) - we got our first Magical Moment Certificate as well as champagne flutes for our wedding gift.
CP - our table was decorated with "Mickey pixie dust" in a shape of a heart and the characters and CMs gave us a lot of special attention.
Magic Kingdom - Two CMs gave us fastpasses to use for any ride.
MGM - we got to sit at the Director's chairs at Lights MOtor Action and got a certificate for it as well. We also went to buy some pictures we took that day and the CM gave us free wallets.
CRT (breakfast) - our table was once again decorated and we also got a Magical Moment Certificate signed by all the princesses
Of course we received tons of attentions from the characters during parades; it was so exciting, I at times felt like a little kid. it was incredible.

All the CM's were wonderful to us and all the characters we met a long the way were amazing. I love Disney; they made my honeymoon even more magical!

This past July my 4 year old and I were at Sci-Fi for dinner and it had been a long day. We had to wait and of course the 4 year old wasn't in the mood to wait. A wonderful CM started playing with a red light laser having it jump from my son's leg to the wall, etc. A great guy waiting next to us joined in pretending to catch the light on the wall and then let it go. It got quite hilarious and pretty soon everyone around us including my 4 year old was in a wonderful happy mood. Well, about 15 minutes later we're sitting in the back of one of the cars in the restaurant and suddenly a red light appears on our table. The look on my sons face was precious. This same CM had come into the restaurant and found us, shined the light on the table and then told my son he had found a way for him to take the light home with him but that he had to hold his hand out and grab what he was about to give him very tightly. The CM placed a red glowing ice cube in my son's hand and turned it on as he was letting go. My son was thrilled and truly believed that he had captured the elusive red light. He carried it around with him for the rest of the trip. That CM really went out of his way to make my son's evening special.

We were at the MGM turnstiles on the last day of our vacation. My 4yo GD was crying because we had to go home that day. The cast member at the turnstile asked for her name. He then told her to come stand by the stroller gate. We couldn't imagine what was going on. Then, in a booming voice he announced, "Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls. Announcing the arrival of Princess Fields!" He then opened the gate and bowed from the waist. My GD was giggling and was absolutely thrilled. Made her day and ours as well. What a magical moment -- Disney style!!!

Last Christmas my two youngest daughters (DD16 and DD16) and I had a girls only vacation at WDW. One of the highlights of our trip occurred at Carousel of Progress in the MK.

We had just taken our seats when the CM down front asked the audience, "How many have seen COP before?" Of course I raised my hand and made some happy noises. :cool1: While I noted that several others had done the same, I was surprised to see (and hear) my daughters join in the enthusiastic response. They enjoy all things Disney, but they are typical reserved teens...in fact I have been the recipient of many an "eye roll" in the past for doing something they considered dorky.

He then asked, "Do you know the song?" Several of us, including my girls energetically answered affirmatively. Hey! I was enjoying this! He continued, "Who knows the words?" Again, several, though fewer, of us indicated we did. He then grinned and said, "Yeah, but can you sing the song?"

To my surprise, the three of us chorused "Yes we can!" and spontaneously burst into the song from the beginning:

"There's a great big beautiful tomorrow shining at the end of every day.
There's a great big beautiful tomorrow and tomorrow is just a dream away."

People smiled and clapped when, without a pause we continued:

"Man has a dream and that's the start.
He follows that dream with mind and heart.
And when it becomes a reality,
It's a dream come true for you and me!"

It was a lovely moment with my girls that I'll remember forever. A person behind me leaned over and said, "That was wonderful! I love COP too!" We exchanged "Happy Holiday" greetings with several people as we left the theatre. It was a Magical Moment for me because I know my DDs really are growing up when they can do dorky things in public with their mother without rolling their eyes! :rotfl:
