hi! How is everyone? I just wanted to start a thread where you can all share any Magical Moments that happened on your cruise. As a CM it is an honour and very special to help create these Magical Moments and a lot of them I will never forget.

Have a Magical Day!

My first "Magical" moment was, funnily enough, on the Magic. Panama Canal cruise. Once we got to the Pacific side, and closer to LA, it was pretty chilly on the outside decks. I was bundling up using several of the towels available on the pool deck. Our assistant sever was working the pool deck that day and saw me. He disappeared and came back with a warm blanket (one of the ones that they use in the rooms).

Hello KT!
You're a CM? Me too! Which department are you in? I'm in Entertainment. You're right though. Creating Magical Moments is so special. I know Princess Cinderella and I once saw her teaching a little girl dressed as Cinderella how to curtsy. As the little girl curtsied her tiara fell off her head. Cinderella picked it up and placed it back on her head and called her Princess (child's name) while curtsying to her. The little girl was so excited that Cinderella thought she was a Princess. As she was leaving, Cinderella blew her a kiss and told her she would see her later at the Palace for tea. The little girl was smiling as she skipped away and her parents looked like they were going to cry from happiness! I love being a CM!!

On our first cruise, DD played hide and seek with Peter Pan. He never found her. When she saw him 15/20 minutes later, he took her on a long, rollicking adventure that she still talks about in great detail.

On our second cruise, Tiana sat with DD and wrote To: name as DD spelled it out for her. Then they twirled and shutters caught a great picture. At the princess meet, she remembered DD's name. Then, on the last night, they ran into each other in the halls and watched the hubbub in the atrium for a while. She was just a remarkable lady.

On the Disney Magic in Europe last summer I was walking on Deck 5 and the hallway was completely empty. I felt someone brush up behind me, turned around and realized I was walking down the hallway, alone with Merida! We had a private 5 minute chat before anyone else came into view and realized she was there. I'm in my mid-40's and have met countless characters at meet and greets. But this surprise encounter was so magical, so authentic feeling. I was just touched that she didn't breeze by me to get to the kids and actually allowed me to experience the magic as well.

One of my favourite memories....last year we did a B2B2B on the Magic and my daughter got to know the counsellors really well. We surprised our kids with another cruise on the Magic this year. So, 10 months after our previous cruise.

As we entered the atrium with all the CMs waving we walk forward and suddenly hear "oh my gosh! Charlotte!" (My daughter's name.) One of the counsellor CMs who was greeting passengers raced up and gave me and my daughter a huge hug to welcome us onboard. She told us how they all still remembered Charlotte and how excited she was to see us.

We were greeted by so many people throughout that cruise - servers, head servers, Cruise Staff, Youth Activities Counsellors - it really felt like coming home.

I think it might be a bit weird being on the Wonder next :), but we'll hopefully be back on the Magic late next year.
