Someone had posted something like this on the Community Board, so I'm kinda stealing it and putting it here! So what are your best home-made, cheap halloween decoration ideas - inside and out? Heres mine that I got from the Martha Stewart show:

OK, heres mine for a great spider - get a round styrophome ball and spray paint it black all over (or get a few in different sizes). Then get either 4 or 8 glow in the dark necklaces or bracelets (depending if you get 4 or 8) and stick them in - it becomes a glow in the dark spider!!!! Then hang it where ever you want - great idea, huh??? I also cut out bats from that thick foamy paper, strung them together, and hung them over my door, really cute.


So whats your great home-made halloween idea???

My dad made a skelaton out of two 4L milk jugs.

One is the head and then you cut the handles out of both for the shoulders. I will see if I can get a picture of it and post it. It is too hard to describe how to cut it out.

Every year I make spider meat loaf for our halloween dinner. I just make the meatloaf in a mound for the body, use bread sticks for the legs, and olives for the eyes held together with toothpicks. I don't know how to post a picture, but it turns out really cute.
