My sister, mom, grandmother, and I were walking from our rooms at Poly to somewhere, and this little boy (he had to be around 6 or 7) asked my sister "are you a boy?" (She was wearing a black sweatshirt, shorts, a college baseball cap and her hair in a ponytail. It was the cutest thing in the world. His parents apologized to us saying some excuse, but we were pretty cool with it.
On that same trip a monorail castmember, while we were waiting in line, played a laser-game trick with my sister. It was so funny and my sister just felt weirded out more than anything, but I was thinking "Yes, Disney Magic!"
And then one day it was just pouring down rain. We're from an area where we think 50 degrees is warm enough to wear shorts, so we just went across the way from our hotel to the bus-stop. The rain was just in one of those downpour modes. So we went on the bus all the way over to DHS, and then we bought ponchos. We took shelter in Beauty and the Beast, and by then the rain was letting up. Then we went and had lunch at Hollywood and Vine, and that was about it for the rain. We bought those ponchos and used them only once.
And then a bus driver noticed my hat (it has a crown on it) and said, "hello, princess" Then an announcement over the intercom said "There is a Disney Princess on board this bus." I knew it was me because there was no other little girls in princess outfits on the bus
That's why I like going back
