I thought it would be a good idea to start a thread for sharing your recipes for WDW restaurant food.
What is your favorite dish that you have a recipe for and comes really close to the real thing?
I'll start with:
Mama Melrose's Cream of Mushroom Soup
3 Portabella Mushroom Caps cleaned and cut to desired size (I like about 1/2" cubes)
16oz Regular White Mushrooms cleaned and cut to desired size (I like about 1/2" cubes)
1Tbsp Butter
3Tbsp Kosher Salt
1Tbsp Black Pepper
1C Merlot Wine
4C Heavy Cream
In a large Stock Pot melt butter. Add Mushrooms, Salt and Pepper. Saute Mushrooms in Butter for 10-15 min. Deglaze with Merlot and cook for additional 10 min. Add Heavy cream, stirring constantly until to desired heat. Serve immediately.
