:wizard: Thanks in advance, :wizard:

we are going in October the 4 of us 2 parents one 9 and 17 year old, We never have had the dining plan until this trip. and want to maximize the plan and get the most out of it, would you please tell me what park you went to and what 3 meals / snacks you had, :woohoo: :woohoo: :cool1:

thanks :thumbsup2

Well, this is my itinerary for this Sept -Oct....

Saturday MK- arriving around noon (driving) lunch at McD's or something right before we check in

Saturday night - CS at Cosmic Rays (saving TS for another day and I think this is one of the nicest CS places to have at dinner)

Sunday - EPCOT breakfast in room (bringing cereal, pop-tarts, etc.)
CS lunch at Electric Umbrella (we usually go around 11:30 or so to avoid the crowds - that is why we do light breakfasts
Dinner at Le Cellier around 5:30

Monday - MK breakfast in room
CS lunch at Pecos Bills
Dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern

Tuesday - MGM Breakfast at Chef Mickey's
Lunch will be either small or snack credits
Dinner at Mama Melrose

Wednesday - AK breakfast in room
CS Lunch at Pizzafari
Dinner at Kona

Thursday - DTD/MK - breakfast in room
CS lunch at WPE
Dinner at Crystal Palace before MNSSHP

Friday - EPCOT breakfast in room and check out
CS lunch at Liberty Inn before leaving

Snacks will be used as needed :-) or gift shop items will be brought home that use up credits (candy, etc.)

The biggest values are dinner (like Le Cellier, Coral Reef, etc.). Use snacks for food, not water and soda (like at Goofy's candy co or Main St Bakery). I never use CS for breakfast - don't feel like it is worth it, even if you do eat eggs and stuff every day.

Enjoy!!

We did the DDP in 2005 and here's what we had.
Back then the use of snack credits were limited to the ice creams, water, sodas, lemonades, and chips and maybe a few other things.
We stayed at WL, It was Me, DH, DD9, DS8

I realize all the sharing is not for everyone, but its a lot of food. Do you normally eat desert at lunch time? We often order Double Cheese burgers and pay oop for an extra bun (70 cents!) Cosmic Rays and Tusker House has a half chicken that we often split too.

Breakfast snacks include pastries, yogurt parfaits and cereal. :thumbsup2

I'm sure you heard you can get a whole box of enteman's doughnuts for one snack credit. I just don't like to eat doughnuts for breakfast.

We are checking into POP on July 22 for our first trip. My family eats very traditional American food. Here are our ADR's. (Me, DH, DS5, and DD2). I didn't pick any buffets because it feels like one of us is up the whole time getting food for someone. We want to relax.

Sunday:lunch- WP express
dinner - Hoop Dee Doo

Monday: lunch - pizza planet
dinner - Sci-Fi

Tuesday: lunch - Cosmic Rays??
dinner - O'Hana

Wed: lunch at Pop (this is a pool day)
dinner - Councourse

Thursday: lunch- Somewhere in MK
dinner - Whispering Canyon

Friday: lunch- Somewhere in Epcot
dinner - San Angel Inn

Saturday: lunch - Flame Tree
dinner - ?? no plans - Pop maybe.

We split most of our CS meals, sharing 1 CS between 2 of us for both breakfast and lunch. For example, the breakfast at Roaring Forks consisted of 2 eggs, home fries, 2 pancakes, bacon, a biscuit & a bottle of juice. DH and I easily split this. Then for lunch we would split a sandwich & the side. If you ask, you can get a large drink with it. Again, plenty for the 2 of us. Then we each had our own TS and mostly took the dessert back to the room for a midnight snack. We used Snack credits for frozen lemonades.

DS (16) and DD (22) aren't breakfast eaters so they'd use their CS for lunch and didn't really share to start but learned quickly that an entire CS meal each was too much food.

Hope this helps!

Too funny!!! Different dates and different TS places but we are doing the exact same as you. We are 2A and 2C and we always share. We are all always full and most of the time have credits leftover to take additional snacks home. Gotta love those rice krispy treats :) Enjoy your trip.

I need to dig up my receipts from my January trip, and can maybe post that info later. But, I do have a rough plan for our upcoming October trip that I can share. We are staying for 9 nights/10 days. We will not have the DDP for the first 2 nights as we are staying at the Swan. We then move to AKV, on rented points, for 7 nights. Because of our resort plan, and because we will be using extra credits for a couple of signature meals, we will have some OOP meal expenses.

Sunday- Lunch: ? (OOP), Dinner: Beaches and Cream (OOP)
Monday- Breakfast: Boardwalk Bakery (OOP), Lunch/Dinner: eating our way around the F&W festival (OOP)
Tuesday- Lunch: Mara, Dinner: Crystal Palace
Wednesday- Breakfast: Boma (OOP), Dinner: Chefs de France
Thursday- Lunch: Y&Y (if open; OOP), Dinner: WGP Express
Friday- Lunch: Columbia Harbor House, Dinner: Citywalk/Universal (OOP)
Saturday- Lunch: Sunshine Seasons, Dinner: Narcoossees
Sunday- Lunch: Mara, Dinner: Boma
Monday- Lunch: Toy Story Pizza Planet; Dinner: Jiko
Tuesday- Breakfast: Mara or WGP Express

What we have decided to do, is to not "waste" CS credits on breakfast. It's just not "worth it" to us... plus all the breakfast plates are pretty reasonable and I can usually fill up on the kids menu offering. For like $4 I got 2 mickey waffles, sausage, apple sauce, and milk. :thumbsup2

We'll use our CS credits for lunches in the park and the snack credits whenever we feel like. We planned our park days first, and then our ADRs... it worked out best and we got everything we were inerested in.

9/5: Arriving around 11:30 pm

9/6: Dinner at Narcoossees

9/7: Lunch at Coral Reef

9/8: Dinner at Boma

9/9: Dinner at Tony's

Not sure exactly where we will be eating for our CS meals. It depends on which park we are in at the time. We do have our favorites though:
MK: Columbia Harbour House or Cosmic Rays
Epcot: Sunshine Seasons
AK: Flame Tree
MGM: We try to avoid eating at MGM because we don't really like the CS options that much.
