I have read that WDW is GREAT with allergies and I trust in that and I do plan to advise them of where I will be eating at. My DD is allergic to milk and nuts. She can tolerate some milk derivitives.

I would just love to hear or see (pics?) about your experiences at these places:

Kona (breakfast)
Hollywood & Vine (Breakfast)
Akerhaus (Breakfast)

Coral Reef (lunch)
Teppan Edo (Dinner)
Yak & Yeti (Lunch TS)
Crystal Palace (Dinner)
Boma (Dinner)
Turf Club (dinner)

I realize some of these really won't have to make many adjustments except maybe for dessert? But maybe not!

Thanks!

Hi and :welcome: to disABILITIES!

If you click on where it says "disABILTIES" at the top of this page it will take you to the Index. One of the top items is the "disABILTIES FAQ" which will gives lots of useful information. Go to Post #3 and scroll down to dietary restrictions. It will give a lot of specific links and detailed suggestions.

Or, if you want an easier route to the FAQs, click on the link in my signature.

Though I can't speak to a nut allergy, I can to a milk allergy--although my dietary needs are milk free and gluten free.

I've eaten at Kona for breakfast and really enjoyed my meals...so much we are going for round #3 in October! They gave me a modified version of their Big Kahuna meal, which consisted of eggs, bacon, sausage, ham, and allergy friendly mickey waffles. The Mickey waffles are awesome! :thumbsup2 The last time, they even gave me some pineapple to add to it (b/c the Big Kahuna typically comes with macadamia nut pancakes with pineapple). YUM!

The only other review I can give is for Crystal Palace. I had a lot of great options on the buffet line. I do know I saw kids eating the allergy free chicken tenders (and wishing I had asked for them! ). The best part of the meal was the dessert! An allergy friendly chocolate brownie cake (covers gluten, dairy, and nut allergies) with rice dream ice cream and chocolate sauce! YUM! It was so good, I asked for the recipe (which is essentially a Bob's Red Mill brownie mix modified). but, it was such a tasty treat at that meal. Nice to have a fresh made dessert (they make it in house, most just use pre-made french meadow brownies).

I have had great luck at Boma for breakfast, but haven't had dinner there. I imagine they would be pretty accommodating. :thumbsup2
