My husband and I use SprintPCS, and so far we are very happy with it. We have switched from Voicestream (now T-Mobile), to Verizon, and finally Sprint. I think they have the best plans over all.

We like Sprint because of the unlimited PCS to PCS calls, which means not only between me and DH but also to anyone else who has Sprint PCS. Mostly we talk to each other, and those are unlimited minutes (we're always on the phone b/c we live far apart). But we have 500 minutes to use otherwise, and between us it's enough to call friends and family.

let me explain the problems i had with sprint:
1) charged me for text messages that were included in my plan
-took 2 months to straighten out
2) Live in ct and found coverage is poor at best except in fairfield county and the hartford area, if you get off the highway 1/2 mile forget making a call
3) my phone number was being used illegally i was told to get a new number asap from sprint by the police. i spent 5 hours on the phone trying to get this straightened out. (2 hours on hold) then they told me there was nothing they could do without charging me a activation fee. i Had to have the police call them and tell them to change the number NOW! then they did it but my bill went up. back on the phone told them to cancel my plan.

now I have cingular coverage is awesome price is great $40/month over 400 mins almost unlimmited nights weekends plus i have rollover mins never had a billing problem. Have had several months where they undercharged me and never asked for the money back.

however if your getting 3 phones my vote is for nextel with direct connect. they work great had them at my last job!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We currently have T-Mobile/Voicestream's family plan.
We travel a lot and have found numerous places where they
have no service - way too many. It has free roam but even
that doesn't scare up service in huge gaps. For that reason
and because we hate our Nokia phones, we're switching.
Thanks for the web site cuti1999, I'm headed there now.
We have special needs-we need at least 1000 combined
minutes during the day-dh really uses his for business!
So far, Sprint looks best but the billing problems discussed
scare me.

I have the T Mobile Family Plan, 2 phones right now and plan to add 12yodd here in the near future.
Also my mom, dad, sister have the family plan as well. We can talk to each other anywhere, anytime unlimited.
Just think 'Everybody Loves Raymond'.

Oh and I really can't compare to other plans as this is the first time I have my own cell phone.

Dan, good point.....it looks like alot of you are from the Chicago or NYC area....I will keep all your good information in mind when speaking to the representatives.....I am even thinking of printing this out & taking it with me when I start shopping.....
