We have two sets of grandparents coming for a few days each. Can I buy a 7 day park hopper plus ticket and have one grandparent use it the first three days and another use it the last four?

The tickets say they're non-transferable BUT they don't have a picture on them and Disney doesn't (currently) do the finger scan. Last time I looked the tickets didn't even have your name or a spot for your signature.

It sure seems like Disney doesn't care if you do what you're planning to.

I have several leftover Parkhopper Plus tickets with varying numbers of park days and waterpark days left on them. They are absolute lifesavers when DH and/or our teens decide to do a day in the parks or waterparks when we are in Kissimmee for two weeks of Christmas/New Years break every year.

We used to be an Annual Pass Family, but now I am the only one who still uses one. I took to buying the 7 day PHP's quite a while back and it has saved us a lot in the long run. We just use them for our family and guests.

One thing though...you mention 2 sets of Grands...won't you want 2 PHP's?...or is just one Grand going to the park on any given day? Disney won't let you use 2 days off your pass to allow 2 people to enter the park on the same day...from the way you worded your question it sounds like you know that rule...but it never hurts to check. It's better than finding that out at the gate when you try to take both Grands in on two swipes of the pass and being told it doesn't work that way!

You're lucky to have 2 sets of Grands in your lives (or maybe not, depending lol). I often wonder what kind of a Grand I'll turn out to be! lol Have fun!

Actually, I have one Mother in law and signficant and my mother coming..... so I thought I'd buy two 7 Days. The MIL and Sig will use two, then my mother would use either for the days she's there. Any leftovers we'd use ourselves or for other family at our next stay. I did a spreadsheet on the numbers and the seven day seems to be the best value if you use the 'pluses'. If you assign a $25 value to the plus (split between Downtown Disney and a Water park) then the per day cost is around $33. About half the gate price. And since this is our first trip 'home' we're not sure how much we'll do the parks etc..

Thanks for the information....this board is a lifesaver.
