Is it mostly just floats and a procession of Disney characters or do they have any other sights (i.e. bands, color guard, etc.)?

depends if there are any special groups there... usually it's just a few snowglobe floats and the characters in and out of the snowglobes.
If you've never seen it... and especially if you have children with you, I would suggest it. Personally... it's not one of our favorite parades.

...and this has been our least favorite as well. Seems shorter than previous parades, have seen it where snowglobes were empty, and always seemed to be a shortage of parade people. I don't know how to describe other than it was like half the folks were out sick as compared to other parades. After seeing it twice from sitting and watching, we now use the time to ride the rides, while others are watching the parade. We still get a glimpse as we move about.

But I do agree, if your children are very young and may ooh & aah at the characters it may be worth seeing............but I would rather stake out a seat for Spectromagic and see the characters then. Now that is a parade !

This is my absolute, favortie daytime parade. The music and theme are so magical. I've seen it probably 6-8 times and I've never seen the globes empty. There's interaction with the crowd. It's stops occasionally and the characters stop and dance and play with the kids. Peter Pan and Wendy are especially fun. I missed this last September and was very sad.

Please, see it at least once, and make your own decision.

I agree it is a nice parade especially for my kids. Would I sit in the heat and wait for it again. No. If I saw it passing by, then OK. I think the best day parade is MGM.

I agree that it is not the best. The parades at AK and MGM are much better. Small children and people who have never seen it may enjoy it, but in our trips we have never sat down to watch this one. We have waited at the end of main street to see it. Not worth the wait to get front row!! Just my opinion!!

I've viewed it twice and probably will not go back to see it again.

If you have never seen it, its worth a look. IMHO.

I wouldn't rearrange my whole trip planning around this parade.

Love this parade. The music and floats are so neat. Even though we've seen it once we WILL see it again next spring. It's just great.
Personally I liked the parade in Animal Kingdom better, but that was just because it was more playful, and the music was more fun. But I still really loved Share a Dream Come True, and absolutely recommend seeing it.
