Shamu Happy Harbor w/ Toddler

What exactly can a toddler do at Shamu's Happy Harbor considering that the area is geared for kids 14 years and older?

I am not sure where you got the idea the area is geared for kids 14 and older, I think 14 may be a bit too old for the area. But there are slides, drums and a sand area for the little ones. There is also a splash area with a ship. Some rides do have height requirements, but I have seen some little ones on rides.

We were there last week and my 21 month old did everything except the Shamu express (roller coaster), the flying fiddler and the high rise playground.

And we rode most things multiple times. As long as someone is riding with your toddler he can ride stuff. Shamu Express though no matter who is with them, they have to be tall enough. For the other stuff, (although the flying fiddler had a restriction of some kind) you just can't send a child younger than 14 on with them. That's where the 14 years old thing comes in and that might be what is confusing. Anybody under 42in has to have someone 14 or older with them. When we were there a 10 year-old tried to get on ocean commotion with his younger brother and the worker said they had to get his mom.

He loved it. If photo bucket wasn't on life support or acting like it is, I'd post some pictures of him. I'm working on my trip report so should get them posted this weekend.

I'm not sure any of the 14 year olds I know would be caught dead at Happy Harbor unless they were looking after a younger bro/sister.

My seven year old thought some of the rides were too "kiddie".
