Shampoo

Usually Pantene Clarifying although I have suave clarifying right now. Sometimes herbal essence. Does anyone else just hate the Disney shampoo? :rotfl:

I started using Pureology about a year ago. Seems to be treating my hair well.
I used Pureology for a while, but I couldn't stand the smell of the shampoo. It is awesome stuff, though. It REALLY holds the color.

I ran out of my Bumble and Bumble so I'm using up some Matrix I already had and it works fine. I also like to switch shampoos a lot. I also have fine hair and flyaways (right in the front) so I need something that will tame and volumize. I haven't found that magic shampoo yet though I'm trying hard!

One of my favorites is ABBA Creme Moist. It smells good and leaves my hair feeling really clean and hydrated. Most of the salons here have stopped selling it, though.

We stayed at a Courtyard on our way home from WDW and they had Physique there. I really liked it but I can't find it for sale here. It smells really good and left my hair shiny and no flyaways!

Bengalbelle, which formula did you use? I don't mind the smell of most of the different formulas, but the purifying/clarifying... gack!!! That one is nasty!! It also tangled my hair horribly! I love the hydrating conditioner's scent. Sort've pepperminty.

Disney shampoo!! :crazy2: It's horrible!! THAT also tangled my hair. It took 15 minutes to get combed out every morning! :( Surprised I had any hair left at the end of the week.

I switch between the following:

Garnier Fructis (my favorite)
Finesse
Herbal Essences
Suave

This time I bought Citre. It smells really good.

I like to switch. I read once that if you use the same shampoo and conditioner all the time you get build up and it's good to switch b/c each formula is different and it keeps your hair healthier. Don't know if that's true, though. :confused3

I just switched to Aussie "root cleanser + tip mender"--and I love it!! It really does work well for thick combination (oilier at scalp, drier on the ends) hair like mine.

As has been mentioned before in this post, it would probably be too heavy for finer hair--but my hair basically needs to be beaten into submission. And the price is right too--about $3.

Oh yeah...I learned that the hard way. Made my hair so soft and flat that I was miserable all day.

I switch, too.

Suave , Garnier Fructis, Kerastase (pricey so I use rarely LOL), Biolage, Dr. Bronners castile soap, Kiss My face, and others

I love Back to Basics (wildflower) shampoon and conditioner! I never believed that shampoo and conditioner brands make a difference - but I can tell when I have to use my Dh's shampoo! My hair is awful!

I also have used Finesse and Herbal Essence - I like Finesse a little better. Smooths my hair nicely.

It was a lavendar bottle so it must have been the hydrating. I really wish they would change the smell because it is one product that really backs up the claim of holding color in.
I did use the peppermint conditioner and I loved it! Moisture Scentsation by ABBA has the same smell/feeling and I really like it too.

Disney shampoo is nasty!

What kind do you use? I switch all the time. On the other hand, one of my sisters, uses this shampoo that she swears by, but it costs about $25 a bottle :earseek: and it is a small bottle :earseek:

I switch a lot too - BUT, I wont use drugstore stuff, ever, never-ever, ever!

Find deals on stuff - places will have them all the time, on liter duo's -

Tigi, Sebastian, Matrix....

You really should never use cheapee stuff on your hair ESPECIALLY if you color, perm, highlight, or heatstyle often.
