Shake it Up episode with water loading

Just a heads up to speak with your kids if they watch this show. Tonight I was watching this series with my girls and the mom used water loading to get the boys to fess up to something. It was very disturbing.
I told my kiddos about water intoxication and how dangerous it is. Anyone remember the hold your wee for a wii death?! STUPID, STUPID WRITERS! I just hope some genius parent does not think this is a great idea after watching tonights episode. PLEASE, talk to your kids about this and let them know to never do this.

Lodging a compaint to Disney tonight via email. I will try to call around corporate tomorrow. If you can catch the episode please do so and join me in compaining so they will pull this episode off the air!

You mean making a kid drink water? or was alcohol involved??

Yes, I mean making the boys drink water and not allowing them to use the restroom until they told the parent what she wanted to know. Sorry if my first decription was unclear.

*anything* to excess is dangerous, and yes, you can drink enough water to kill you. It takes much less for a child than for an adult.

Water intoxication can cause seizures, brain swelling, and death if not treated.

Even if it weren't this dangerous, forcing a child to drink and not allowing acccess to the bathroom is torture in my opinion. What a terrible thing for a parent to do.

What little I've seen of this show looks exceedingly stupid, now this report tonight just confirms that.

And you know what? I am willing to take someone's word at what the content was since I have no desire to confirm it for myself.
