We will be heading to the World in a 10 days
and we are planning on seeing Mickey's Jammin' Jungle Parade at AK. We will be traveling with my mom and at 70, she does not handle the heat too well.
Can anyone recommend a nice shady spot along the parade route where we can enjoy the parade?

) right by the route. If you get there early enough, you can sit her in the covered seating area for the bar, right at the edge. There are some very good views there. After the parade goes by, try the Safari even if you did it earlier in the day. The line is nonexistent after the parade, most people follow the parade out of the park. Have fun!
