I bought the Docking Bay Nighttime Gathering Package with the hope I can see Shadows of Memory and Fire of the Rising Moon in the same location without waiting hours for a good space to see it. I'm questioning if the "package" is worth it. Has anyone here seen both shows and if yes, how long did you have to secure a good location and where is the best viewing area?

Appreciate any guidance. :) I haven't seen too many recent comments about those shows.--- Thanks in advance!

I went the first week of Shadows of Memory. Because it was new, it was much more crowded than it is now. This was before Paint the Night and Wondrous Journeys - two extremely popular shows that attract guests to other areas of the park.

We got there about an hour before the show and on first glance, it looked quite crowded. Then we realized that there was a lot of space in between groups. People stand for the projections and fireworks. Once all of the seated people stood, there was plenty of room. Both shows are elevated so it isn't like you need to be in the front row.

Examples of gaps or spaces in between people who are waiting.

Shadows of Memory - You just need to see the spires above MF. It is better to be a little farther back and not in the front row.

Fire of the Rising Moon - You are looking even higher than the spires (and slightly to the right).

Thank you LKing!!! You are always very helpful and knowledgeable! I'm glad to see you can stay in the same spot to view both shows.
