this has been so great to read so much on SOG! DH and I and kids are going to Disney for the very first time this summer. Not my ideal time to go, but with kids in school, it seemed more prudent. We are renting a car down there so I suppose it'd be best for us to be nearer the garage, altho I do want a room with some view. Is that possible?

BTW, originally we were going to stay at Port Orleans, but saving so much money daily was too big of a draw! That leaves more money for character lunches, we have two, and some special dinners, not to mention souvenirs. And I'd rather have a less hectic pool as my 4 year old can't swim, except doggie paddle.

Gardisney...I read somewhere every room has a patio or balcony with a view of the pool, golf courses, or courtyard area.

I have a question also. When I booked, the only rooms left were ADA rooms. What are the differences between the standard rooms and ADA rooms?

The CM who took my reservation said the only difference was in the bathroom where the tub has hand rails. Does anyone know?

One more question... How is the food there? Checked on .wwwallearsnet.com for the menus and the last updates were for summer 2004. Does any one know if they are the same. Thanks!!!

baileybelle, I belive with the huge parking garage, there are rooms that over look that.

As for the ADA rooms, I thought maybe I saw pics of them and I think it is mainly the bathrooms.
