My parents are considering a visit next year to WDW for the first time and I am particularly interested in the Stars and Stripes Tickets.

While my father is a veteran of the Air Force,he of course may use these tickets. Will anyone ELSE traveling with him be able to use those tickets as well? If so, does that person have to tour the parks WITH my Dad or can the group split up at various times? While the SOG site outlines benefits, I don't see the limitations. I assume there must BE some, otherwise people would always buy these tickets!

If anyone can help- thanks a lot!:goodvibes

As long as he has his military id with him, he can purchase as many Stars & Stripes tickets as he wants. That's the only time there's a need to show proof of military service and it's only necessary for the person purchasing the tickets. No one will ask anyone for military id when you go to the parks and there's no need to stick together the whole time. The purchaser must be staying at Shades of Green or a Disney resort in order to purchase the Stars & Stripes tickets. If you're staying off-site, you can purchase regular park tickets at Shades at a discounted rate and no tax. :goodvibes
