I have read that we can walk or take the golf cart from SOG to the Poly and catch the monorail there. How do we get across the highway between the two? Is there a crosswalk or is the traffic light enough not to worry about it? :confused3
Or is it better just to count on the bus to the TTC? :confused3

It is a little crosswalk. The only traffic is cars going to the GF. Nothing to worry about. Just keep in mind that you can be dropped off across from the Poly but you are on your own walking back which after a long day of walking in the parks can seem like a hike.

Thanks.

It does have me a little worried about the end of the long day. We'll kind of gauge it our first day there. I know you can catch a bus from the TTC, not sure how crowded those would be in the beginning of March (before spring break). We are spending one late evening at Downtown Disney (Quest) - I think we might take a taxi back that night, as the "commute" looks rather horrible! :earboy2:

We walked to the Poly when we wanted to get somewhere fast and when we had the energy :) The walk wasn't bad at all and traffic was never a problem. When we were tired, we took the bus to TTC. The bus leaves every 15 minutes so there was usually not much of a wait. In June, the bus was never crowded for the short ride from TTC to SOG.

when you get dropped off the 1st time by the shady shuttle ask for an information card. It has a phone # you can call to request a ride back to SOG. They'll pick you up right at the crosswalk, right where they dropped you off. I don't remember what time they stop the service at night.

We too, used the shady shuttle and walked to Poly and back more than the bus....it is an easy walk, very pleasant scenery as well, we actually used the boat at Poly everytime we went to MK. Again, as someone pointed out, and we were there at end of June, there is no traffic along that road. We even saw the TTC bus stop and pick up people walking back! I found our Trek to our room to be longer once we were in the hotel lol!!!!
