Hi,

I am trying to plan a last minute trip in March and was wondering if anyone has ever had any luck with overflow rates when SOG was booked. We want to stay from March 13-17 but there is no availability at SOG. If anyone has gotten an overflow rate, please tell me how, and also what the rate was. Thanks!

Call SOG and tell them the dates you want are booked and you want to check on overflow rates. You need to have a resort or two in mind (or catagory), since they have over 50 properties that they have rates for. (Disney, Downtown Disney and off site) For the past two years we've gotten a moderate at about $89. We got the CR this past December 26- Jan. 2 for $189.

I've had SOG overflow rates several times. I doubt I'll get it for the end of July this year because I could only book 14 of the 15 nights I wanted at regular Disney rates.

We had SOG overflow rates at the Movies for 2 weeks (week of Thanksgiving and week after) this past Thanksgiving. We payed $59 a night.

SOG must be sold out for the time period you want to go.

I hope this helps.
Melanie

I called SOG last week re: 7 night stay in Feb. The rollover rates they were quoting were rack rates at the Disney hotels. I mentioned that I had gotten much better rates in the past and the gentleman told me the rates are worse than they used to be.
