We'll have an infant with us on our next trip. We'd like to do the waterparks for the first time but want to make sure I'll have shade for her. Is there any shady areas to put our stuff fpr the day and sit while she naps?

I don't know which water park you are going to, but we have been to TL several times (BB only once so I can't really remember). TL has a lot of good shady spots, but you need to be there when the park opens to get one. They have cabanas too, but they cost $320 for up to 6 people. They also have "premium beach chair space" at TL which is an umbrella, 2 loungers, a table, 2 towels, and 2 chairs for up to 4 people for around $50-60 if you wanted to guarantee a spot without paying the premium of a cabana.

Shady seats can be negligable during high season when the water parks are packed. If you're going midsummer & must have shade, I recommend reserving an umbrella chair.

After I posted, I saw that it looks like there are 6 of you. You can rent two of the umbrella chairs next to each other for everyone to fit.

Go to TL, I think it has more shade than BB. In fact, some spots tucked back in the corners at TL are completely shaded, as in under a bridge of trees. But you need to be there at RD to get them. We do RD every time we go and have never had trouble finding shade, even at BB

i agree that shady spots are not plentiful on the busy days.
One of us will do the locker thing first thing and the other will scout out a good spot.
