SF Rrestaurant help

I'll be visiting SF in Oct. and am trying to plan out where to eat. I'm staying at the Grand Hyatt in Union Square. Will be using public transportation/taxi's to get around.

Does anyone know anything about these restaurants:
Sinbad's on Pier 2
Pier 23 (at Embarcadero)

Also, any other suggestions on good, mid-priced places to eat?

Tek...tell me what kind of food you are wanting to eat, is this an adult trip or are kids coming? do you like gourmet, wine???? I will tell you the best ones I know of...I live a couple hours from SF so I go there often...as far as the 2 you asked about...I would kind of steer clear from the lower parts of the pier with the exception of maybe the ferry building...you want to be from about Pier 39 upwards....so PM me because Im not usually on this side of the boards and I may forget to check back

Café Pescatore at the Tuscan Inn near Fisherman's Wharf is very nice for Italian food.
