Do you think Sam's going to die?

Last night, when I was watching the show, I just had this "feeling" that they were going to have her die.

While talking to a co-worker this am, she had the same "feeling", too, last night.

We both think that it will be in the last show. Either she'll be "fine", then they will cut to the girls laying flowers on her grave (or something like) or they will have Carrie doing her usual "diary", but several years in the future. Then the cancer will have come back after remission.

Either way, we think it will be quick & powerful, with little airtime devoted to her death.

Again, this is just my/our opinion. Just wonder how everyone else felt.

I heard at the beginning of the season that someone is going to die but that it will NOT be one of the main characters. That could be to throw us off the scent but who knows.

I don't think any main characters is going to die. The show is doing great and I don't think they would make a big change as far as the characters. They made Samantha sick on the show to make the show even more interesting because the situation is hitting close to home.

Someone may die on the show...but not them sexy girls!! I'm almost positive, and this is just my opinion.

I thought this was a very powerful episode on breast cancer. I think all women hope for the relationship Sam seems to have with Smith.

On a side note, is anyone else sick of hearing Carrie refer to Mikhail Baryshnikov as "the Russian"?

Well I for one am holding out for the HAPPY endings.


Sam-Nope, I don't think she will die. I think she will get married. That will be a surprise ending for her.

Miranda - married with children in Brooklyn. She will get prego again.

Charlotte - adopting and married.

Carrie- I am still holding out for Big. I just can't see her with MB.
Did anyone see the preview??? I think Carrie picked up the phone and it was Big.
Maybe he has moved back and that is enough to break up with MB and leave her a single gal in NYC, with emphasis toward getting with Big.

Can't wait for the next show!

I almost cried watching S$C last night. I to got the feeling Sam was going to die. GOD I HOPE I AM WRONG !!! I am living for a reunion movie LOL.

Sam I think now knows she has something more then a lover in Smith. I would hate to see it end with her ending up (you know what) and just finding the love of her life.

Maybe its Big that is going to die ???

US magazine has pictures from the final episode. its in Paris and Carrie goes with MB. But Big is there too. they shot many different scenes with different endings. So there is still hope for Carrie/Big. Although I have a funny feeling she will be left single.

I'm tired of "the russian" period. I really, really don't like him and Carrie together, looks more like a father and daughter than girlfriend and boyfriend. Nope, nope, nope, don't like him one bit! Bring back Big or Aidan!

And anyone want to admit they cried when Samantha found out she had breast cancer? I felt like a good friend had just told me the same thing. In talking this over at work, seems like several women I work with also cried! (I need to get a life too!)

I was also thinking that Samantha wouldn't make it, I was getting the same vibes.

Only time will tell, and I am glad they filmed several different endings. I hope the last episode doesn't get leaked out, I want to be surprised!

It's possible...it would make for a very powerful ending, but I have the feeling that maybe Smith will propose and she'll accept.

Kim Cattrall was on the Ellen Degeneres show today, and said they taped MULTIPLE endings to the show, so nobody knows how it will end. She also said they only have 5 more days of shooting, and people have been coming up to her on the street and saying, "PLEASE tell me Samantha's going to be OK???" She thinks it's very sweet, but of course had nothing to say either way.

Couldn't believe SJP had rodents jumping around her apartment, and that MB just bashed it with a frying pan - ewwwww.

How cute was Charlotte and that pup? Awwwww

I could have sworn I saw spattered guts hit the camera....lol VERY unexpected and gross. I actually jumped back in my seat....lol Good thing "the Russian" wasn't sleeping with her when the mouse was in her hair. He would have whacked her with a book or something.

I think Carrie will be single forever, she's much too neurotic to ever settle down. I picture her 70 years old, still wearing crazy outfits and chain smoking while she sits in her mouse infested apartment writing best selling novels.

I need to address a few things...


The Rat--- SICK! That was so SICK! And yes there were Rat Guts on the camera! Trust me, we tivo'd it and my boyfriend slow motioned it! ICK!

Samantha-No, I don't think she will die. I think she will beat it, and it will give her a whole new outlook on life and marry Smith! Ahh....Smith! YUMMY!

Charlotte-I think they will adopt OR she will be content with Elizabeth Taylor in her life as her child.

Miranda-OH! I was thinking the same thing about her moving to Brooklyn and getting pregnant again! That would be awesome!


Carrie- I am beyond sick of "The Russian" I cannot believe that the writters have wasted this many episodes on them when so many people (SATC fans) hate that relationship! It kind of irritates me that these last ones haven't been reuniting her and Big. I think that in the end...she will go to Paris with Alec and Big will come in, sweep her off her feet and PRESTO! I'm happy again!

I know it's sick, because of the way they treat each other, but I just LOVE Carrie and Big! They belong together! Period!

I'm just glad she stopped saying "my lovah" - Yuck! As much as I LOVE this show, I'm not that crazy about the Carrie character - I find her annoying especially with men. I love Charlotte and Miranda.

ok so im only 16 but i love the show i have season 1 and 4 on dvd my goal is to own all the seasons anyway i read in a magazine that the way Mikhail Baryshnikov and carrie breakup is he takes her to paris then says i am in paris but carie is in new yourk...o something like that anyway but what was written could always be something to throw us off.

i dont think sam will die though that would be to harsh of an ending. and as tv guide said sex an the city will have a BIG ending!

As soon as Samantha said she was diagnosed with breast cancer, I had the feeling the writers were going to have her die. - just a feeling. The writers are definitely trying to wrap up everyone's lives in a neat little bow . . . Miranda moving to Brooklyn with her family; Charlotte accepting her infertility problems (and probable adoption); and then there's Carrie. I don't feel ANY chemistry between her and MB. I was holding out hope for Mr. Big's return. According to the previews, I think that may happen!! THEY definitely had chemistry!

I'm with you, I don't like her referring to MB as "the Russian", but then again, we never found out "Mr. Big"'s name either.

I had to laugh after he "fried" the mouse when he said, "Twas just a rodent".

I think she refers to him as the russian to distance him from her, so when they break up it won't be as shocking as it would be otherwise (much like big). Didn't anyone think the only shocking breakup was aiden, and they used his first name? I can't remember what the writers name was though. I have to admit samantha's story line is the only one interesting me this last season. I hope she finally realizes she loves smith and that they stay together in the end.. But who knows!
