Sewers stench at Seven Dwarfs

We smell that all the time at Epcot near the innoventions buildings. It’s really bad near the character spot there. Never noticed it at 7DMT though.

I always smell it at Disneyland in the Pirates of the Caribbean queue when you're on the left side of the building and just about to go through the double doors. Anyone else? I swear it's there every time. So gross! I hope the smell is gone from 7DMT when we're there next month!

That's funny...bud sadly I'm willing to bet it's most likely the actual reason. Been there, done that...probably from both sides.

Could it be the sulfur water, WDW is kinda known for it?

We were there last night also and that stench stretched all the way across the walk to Winnie The Pooh. Both my daughter and I both noticed it and commented on it.

This was my first thought. We lived in Florida for a while and all of our yard watering was done with well water rather than water that had been treated. Whenever our sprinklers, or the sprinklers of our neighbors, were active the water smelled horrible.

Then again it could just be the sanitary sewer smell works its way to the service on occasion. This could be a grease trap that's not working correctly (we have a local beer joint that has this problem on occasion and they fix it by pouring more water into the trap to get the protective layer to hold the smell in) or just an area where air flow allows it to surface.

Yeah, the one in the walkway by Innovations Character Spot in Epcot has been there for years. It's nasty. Still surprised they haven't fixed that.

Noticed it Saturday night, when exiting 7DMT. It wasn't sulfur and wasn't BO - definitely a sewer kind of smell. Didn't dwell on it, but did notice it.

Looks like they need to do some sewer upkeep and renovations. Maybe we should expect Bathroom Usage fees to pay for it?
