Several thoughts I had through out today.

(be forewarned, its exam week. I've taken five midterms and a final. I'm almost crazy at this point)

I've come to the conclusion that my highschool looks like a prison.

It has the long sweeping lawn where they can pick you off one by one if you try to run for it.

The impossible to scale chain link fences.

High windows.

Two tone bricks.

Concidence? I doubt it.

My english teacher developed a crippling migrane after administrating her sixth midterm.

I thought midterms were supposed to stress students out? :confused3

The local prison gets better food than my school does. And my school's food is too expensive. We're students. We don't have that much money.

Block schedules=evil. Pure and simple. I feel no need to elaborate on that.

Silence is deafening. My classes have been totally silent over the past few days. I just want to scream when the room is totally silent for hours on end.

so those are my random thoughts. how bout you?

No she means the type of block schedualing where your in the same class every day for an hour and a half.

I have that. It's awful.

I agree. Our school calls it double lab when it happens for science. We have to give up our free period and go in for 90 minutes.

Over the past two days, I've spent two solid hours with each of my teachers.

Not fun.

I dislike block scheduals. I'd rather have my eight periods a day. Much easier on me.

I'd kill to have 40 minute classes.

The highschool I applied to has block scheduling.

Periods 1 & 2 are 85 minutes each.

Lunch. 45 - 60 minutes.

Periods 3 & 4 are 85 minutes each.

Language arts, Spanish, S.S. and math would be every other day.

Yeah.

I was thinking about that at school.
Weird coincidence.

Oh, wow! I would die.
All my classes are 50 minutes except 4th period which is two hours (but really only an hour and a half cos they break it up with the 4 lunchs), but we have 4A and 4B, so not the same 4th period every day, but all the other classes every day.
That sentence sounds weird, but I think you can get it.

Meh. Anything less that 1h and 40m classes.
I'd cry if I had to spend an hour and forty minutes with my health teacher every day.

I can barely stand 55 minutes.

If I wasn't half awake through half of class, I wouldn't be able to spend that much time with my english teacher.

Which reminds me...I'm really....REALLY not looking forward to Monday.

I have health after lunch. I'm awake. She's awake.

Bad combo.

I'm so happy I'm out of health.
I hated my teacher. Along with pretty much everyone in my class.
Gym's not much better, but I can't wait til Computers.

I rather like the block schedules. I like all of my classes, and it means I don't have to remember things from the beginning of the school year for the last tests. Our finals were easy.

Ask me about block schedules again after I've had a few days in health, though. Everyone hates our teacher, and I'm not sure I'll like her, either.

But an hour and a half of English? I love the sound of that!

My school is surprisingly like a jail as well. Although I'm sure prisoners have more freedom in a classroom than we do . . .

"Ok, guys. I know it's your study hall, so I'm going to put you all in alphabetical order, force you to be silent, AND you can't leave the room for any reason whatsoever!"

Ok, that may be a slight exaggeration, but still . . .
