Hello everyone!!

My hubby and I are planning a vow renewal for 2012  We are thinking of doing the Escape package because we have our hearts set on the Wedding Pavilion.

While looking over the things included in this package we saw "Annual Passes". We don't live anywhere close to FL - so we would only use the tickets during this particular trip. We were wondering how the annual passes work. Are the passes that are included in this package good for a year and do they include the park hopper option? Also, when exactly will we recieve the passes? Do we get them after our wedding? We will be there two days prior to the wedding, so will we need to buy park tickets for those two days as well?

Another question we had is; Where are you staying during your wedding/vow renewal? Has anyone stayed at a moderate resort (which one did you like) for the majority of your stay but switched to a deluxe the night before the wedding? Was this a hassle?

Another question - if we happen to stay at the Grand Floridian for our entire vacation...will we need the limo to get to the Wedding Pavilion or can we use that at another time? We were thinking of using it for our dinner instead - can the limo take us to one of the restaurants at the Dolphin or Swan??

Thank you SO much for your help and suggestions!!!!!

Congrats to you all :cool1:

Annual passes are valid for one year from the date of activation and give you admission into all four theme parks—so, yes, you can park hop. Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings gives you vouchers that you can turn into basic annual passes whenever you want.

Also, when exactly will we recieve the passes?

Usually within a few weeks of returning your signed contract and deposit, but always well before the wedding.

If you peek at the myriad trip reports in the "Planning Our Happily Ever After" sub-forum (top of the main weddings & honeymoons page) you'll see that couples have stayed at every kind of resort, from Value to Deluxe.

Switching resorts the day before your VR shouldn't be a hassle. It's switching on the day of the event that can be a headache. We switched resorts 4 times during our wedding trip, and it was very easy.

Another question - if we happen to stay at the Grand Floridian for our entire vacation...will we need the limo to get to the Wedding Pavilion or can we use that at another time? We were thinking of using it for our dinner instead - can the limo take us to one of the restaurants at the Dolphin or Swan??

It's an easy walk to the Wedding Pavilion from the Grand Floridian. You are allowed to use the limo at any time during your stay, but it has to be all 4 hours consecutively—you can't break it up. So if it took you to the Swan & Dolphin for dinner, you might want to plan to have it take you somewhere else afterward (and leave enough time for it to get you home!).

Hope this helps!

**I hope I am doing a reply correctly?? I am still very unsure of how this site works..so please bear with me here! :rotfl:

My hubby and I were looking online under the "book your trip" tab...

My question is; will we book our hotel/trip through the disney wedding people or can we go ahead and book the trip now, through the website?

The reason we ask is because we can't figure out how to book our hotel room AND the disney dining plan, without also purchasing park tickets. Since the annual passes will be included with the wedding package - we wouldn't need to buy more tickets would we?

When looking at the plan your vacation or book your trip tab (can't quite remember the exact name) the there isn't an option for ZERO park tickets?!? So this has us all confused :rolleyes1

Thanks in advance for all of your help!

Try calling the disney hotel reservation number and booking that way. They can add a dining plan to your reservation without park tickets, but it's not something you can do online.
