no longer the wonderful cinnamon rolls at Tuskers - this
was my most disappointing cut-back!!!!!
my DH could no longer enjoy his breakfast at Tuskers - were
not serving
everytime I went by Beavertail stand, it was closed.
POR has cut-back on their food selections in the food court
BUT, we did:
try Earl of Sandwich - very nice addition to Downtown Disney
find the POP Century food court was very nice
find Yakatori has gone back to its old Shogun Combo - love it!
Sci-Fi has improved greatly in its lunch offerings
believe me, we don't starve, and can never agree on where to
eat, but my cinnamon rolls have been replaced (boo-hoo)!

I admit the popularity of BeaverTails eludes me - I'm not sure how anyone ever gets one as I've never seen that stand open!

I heartly agree the cutbacks on food have been very disenchanting.

1. No more sovenieer(sp) cups at buffets for the kids. It some how made me feel better when my 5yo ate a tablespoon if Mac and Cheese that she got a nice AKL cup to take home for10.00.

2.One less chicken finger at America in Epcot. There was a HUGE thread on this on the rumors board.

I also have found portions size to have decreased. I try to order my DDs an entree and ave them split it vs burgers and fries all the time

Are you serious?! This was my tradition in AK. I could cry. :(

What did they replace them with?

We will be there next week and are so looking forward to the Beaver Tails. We have never had them, just have read about them here for years. We were there two years ago at this exact same time, and the cart was not even there, and none of the CMs working in the area knew why it was not there. I hope we are not disappointed again!

What IS a Beaver Tail, and where do you get them?

You can find Beaver Tails at the Canadian Pavillion. We had them in December 2003, sorry to say, but WE WERE NOT VERY IMPRESSED!!!

The beavertail booth has been open only after 3pm for years, prior to 9/11 if my serves me correctly.

So, what you're saying here is that if a chef happens to change a menu it's a cut back?

WHAT, no cinnamon rolls at the Tusker House??!!??!! Oh please tell me that really isn't true.

..rolls, but not the ones in the big frying pans that I drooled over.
They now taste like all the other rolls they serve for breakfast.
The chef could have changed his menu, but I want these particular cinnamon rolls back. I ordered the rolls and the kids
wouldn't eat them like before - what a waste.

We checked the beavertail booth around 7:00 p.m. on two nights
and it wasn't open.

Jenn Lynn - there WERE tears in my eyes!

I didn't say they were ALL cutbacks, I said there were changes -
we've been going to Disneyworld and enjoying the food for
many years, and still are, but are sad about some of the changes.
Each of us has our favorite food and the cinnamon rolls were
tops for me (and maybe others) and my DS looked forward to
his beavertail.

Wahhhh, no they have to be in the big frying pan, all nice and warm and gooey. Ohhhh no, it can't be. Wahhhhhh.
