seven month window first two weeks december

What are the chances of getting a two bedroom at OKW first two weeks of Dec. at the seven month window. Maybe one or two weeks length

I've never tried, but I think at 7 months you should be OK. Here's hoping you get one!

If there are any openings they would likely be at OKW or SSR but still some risk. First two weeks of December are very high demand DVC time. You usually start seeing some reports on these boards about end of February of how owners at a resort who called at 10 months out (rather than 11) are on waitlists for December.

I had no idea how tough it wold be to make reservations at the 7 month window. My original dates were booked so I tried the following week. I managed to get 2 studios at OKW but had to call day by day at exactly 9:00. If I ever do it again I will book my home resort and then try to change to the location that I want to ensure a place to stay. However, I was trying to accomplish my goal of staying in all the different dvcs. I had no idea DVC was this busy in December, I figured it was one of the least crowded times of the year so I wouldn't have a problem

I used to try for BWV for the first week of December with absolutely no luck at all for several years. Part of the reason why I went and bought my BWV resale so I would have the home resort booking advantage there for December.

Weather is great that time of year, the holiday decorations are up, lots of holiday related parties and activities and the DVC annual meetings are held then too. With the lower points, it is definitely high season for DVC vets to book.
