Jumping in here....I got through about 20 pages, but got tired and figured I'd just post already! LOL

Just booked today for AKL CL June 15-23! I'm so, so, so excited!!!! Any tips/advice? Should I put in any kind of room request? I hope to learn a lot from you all!

Forgot to ask if y'all had any tips for driving around the world from AKL? We'll have our car! TIA!

Fingers are crossed. How are Fran and Arline? Hopefully everybody is healing nicely.

Fran is OK, I'll update on the PTR the detail of the Wound Dr. appt, but we basically were given the green light. Lots of miscommunication going on, but we worked it out. Arline is feeling better from her pneumonia and is confident she can drive down next week. She'll be here a week before we go, so if there are any problems, hopefully the Dr. can take care of it.

Alison - I am hoping "all goes well" and we get updates from AKL!!

I hope I'll have lots of time to do updates, we are going to spend a lot of time chillin in the room. I'm sure you understand from Bob's situation what chillin' means. Everyone always tells me that I should just let her stay in the room, and occasionally I do, but normally not for park visits, I will check out the resort while she enjoys the comfort of the Villa. That way I am not too far away.

I'm sorry Wendy. I hope you're flight leaves soon or has already left. Safe travels!

I know, you shouldn't be kept from MImi duty! I hope all is well

I had my air on Monday but no heat back on here....

Ok I finally packed.. we are leaving at 3:45 in the morning. :lmao:

Yikes! I hope that you enjoy your day tomorrow in Vegas. Rentayenta will be there over the weekend too, she just emailed me that her husband is taking her on a couples only getaway....

I promise to take care of it... I have researched the $7 a day bus and how to get around..

I didn't even know that there was a $7 a day bus, we always drive our own car, so we're pretty mobile. Have a great time!

I have something to celebrate. After living in the UK for nearly 16 years, I have finally decided to apply for British Citizenship. The first step in this process is sitting and passing the Life in Britain test. This is fiendishly difficult and a lot of British people cannot pass this either. Well, I have been studying every spare minute that I had for the last 3 weeks and yesterday I passed this on the first attempt. I am so relieved. As soon as I get back from our vacation, I will put in the application and hopefully when I go to WDW in November, it will be with a British passport.

Well we made to Chicago....

Alison so happy things are coming together and everyone in feeling good...

Good morning, Js & Ks! :sunny:

Brandi - Hope the rest of the trip is easy and you have a financially beneficial time.... :rotfl:

Corinna - :yay: You worked hard and it paid off! :yay:

Laura - Glad to see you have some "down time" to catch up on here! :goodvibes

Allison - I love it when a plan comes together so well. I hope it continues to go your way!

Pam - I know we need lots of rain. So, I hope it rains lots! However, one of my former students who is all grown up is getting married this weekend. The ceremony and the reception are at her parents' beautiful country home and I fear it will be a washout. :(

Megs - :welcome: We are as excited as you are!! You will have a fabulous time. We never drive around WDW even if we have our car. I love not having to be in control for a change! :rotfl2:

:cool1: you're going to LOVE it! I don't think it's necessary to do a room request when you've already got CL, the views are already guaranteed to be good unless you're concerned about being close to the lobby or elevators.

Elin I hope the wedding goes beautifully and the rain holds off until afterwards.

Kim, is your DS on vacation or business?
