I'm quite relieved it is opening after we leave, with A&E rush at rope drop and if Mine Train had opened next week MK would be manic, although I will be available if they do soft runs

Just out of interest I popped onto MDE just now and sure enough, you can select FP+ for the SDMT for May/June.

I booked my tickets online and they have just magically linked, so 30 days out I *should* be able to book for the Dwarves!!!

I wonder just how rammed MK will be the first few days, with A&E and now the SDMT...

This is inaccurate. SDMT has appeared on the list of FP Plus attractions in the last couple of hours but you can't actually book it yet. I just tried! If you look there is no star at the end of the ride name like there is for all other attractions.

No. You can in fact book it.

I managed to make a booking for the 29th of May between 6pm and 7pm (which I then cancelled as I'm not going until July!)

There are problems with doing it on the app, but certainly on MDE you can book it now.

Well I now have the same fast pass plus problem with the mine train as I had with Anna & Elsa!

I have 2 mine train fast passes for my party of 3 on the 31st May (last day of our hols) - grrr! Let's just hope i get lucky like i did with A&E that a 3rd fast pass opens up :-(

but they reckon there will be a soft opening before then so you might still catch it...but dread to think how long the line will be without a fast pass

I am looking forward to the insanity at rope drop. With all the guests storming Main Street to get to Fantasyland for A&E and 7DMT, our favorite rides should be walk ons for the first hour!

exactly...it seems a fantastic time to go if you're not bothered to do 7DMT and A&E..

Scooby, try first thing on the day of for each of those days. Unless they change what they are doing, it seems a pretty sure thing that they are holding back FP's to release into the system on the day when the park goes online.

Oh rats. It's officially opening the week after I'm there but does anyone know how soft openings work - are these flagged on the day or is it just a matter of loitering around there on the off chance?

EDIT - saw the other thread on soft openings. I shall loiter with intent. Or ... I could just schedule another trip for next year ... Hmm.

I will try that. It's not even appearing in the last any more, which is odd because other rides are where they have no FP Plus availability but it just says that. I'm so cross. Was on the website 5 minutes after they announced the opening and you couldn't book them. Had to work then and five hours later they were all gone!

I was able to get FP's for June 18 and 20th but nothing the last week in May when we are going with the kids............sigh
