OMFG, I have been sitting here all day refreshing numerous pages looking for an announcement re: SDMT. Finally, this pops up (http://disneyparks.disney.go.com/bl...n-walls-come-down-at-seven-dwarfs-mine-train/) and I have a little heart attack, thinking it is actual news. I am so sick of hearing that it will open "later this spring"! I have become a woman obsessed! I even had a dream the other night that I had actually booked my FP+ and I was so relieved! I am so exhausted with all this checking again and again! Uggggghhh!

Set a Google search alert for "Seven Dwarfs Mine Train" and follow @WaltDisneyWorld on Twitter and set as a favorite so you get a notification whenever they tweet anything.

I read somewhere that someone was able to reserve a FP+ for this ride. We go mid-June...I haven't seen it pop up yet. Am I missing something?

No it was on a comment on the WDW blog about SDMT...dated today.

Maybe you can find it and post a link? I think either someone was kidding/lying or perhaps you are remembering it wrong. There was a post on this board earlier today saying that the SDMT attraction page on the WDW website now says "FastPass+ Offered," which is a new development--could that be what you are thinking of?

Nope...It was just a comment from a random person. They must have been mistaken. I just wanted to double check. Thanks!

Hmm - I just checked and it's back to saying "schedule unavailable FP+ service offered." Maybe they were doing a test of the on-line system and at least we are one step closer.

I'm going to start checking for the FP+ at 9pm pacific time every night before I go to bed- just in case. Of course, if I was Disney I'd sneak it up at 2am or something. In which case I will then be at a disadvantage because getting up at 5am will already be 8am back east.

It seems to me that setting up an email system through MDE would be simple enough. We indicate our wish list attractions in MDE, and SDMT is there (even though you cannot choose FP+ yet). So why couldn't Disney set up an email process for any changes to those items? Oh, if we, the guests, ruled the world of Disney.
