Seven Dwarfs Dedication and MK crowds

I remember the dedication day of Star Tours. We did nothing but wait for the dedication festivities and the rode the ride. Was easily after noon before we did anything else and we were there by 7.

So would a FP lunch at BOG around 1:00pm on May 2nd be a good or bad idea? (I already have the FP).

I was hoping it would be fun to be part of the experience?

How do you get a FP for BOG? I don't see restaurants as an option on the list.

There is separate link and website for them. I doing have it bookmarked, but it's usually close on the dining board.

This is our last MK day of our trip (luckily we have 2 others). We were planning more of a half day so all our FP+ are all in the late morning/early afternoon, all in Fantasyland. One is Anna and Elsa so we aren't touching that one! So in with the masses we go!

How do you think crowds will be affected on the 1st for the media day? That is our MK day and we have FPs but all of which are prior to the closings. Do you think we will be ok? Thanks.

Count me as another with a BOG FP on May 2. My husband and FIL are taking a tour that morning at MK. I thought about switching MK days, but in the end I just warned my MIL and FIL about the probable craziness and decided to roll with it.

This is one of our big MK days too but we're just so excited that it will be open!!

Count me as another with a BOG FP on May 2. My husband and FIL are taking a tour that morning at MK. I thought about switching MK days, but in the end I just warned my MIL and FIL about the probable craziness and decided to roll with it.

I really debated about changing our days, but we've got everything planned out now....I feel a little annoyed that they are interrupting my OCD Disney planning! We'll be rolling with it too. Hoping it's not too overly crowded.

We do have hoppers and we do have a day later in our trip when we could go back to MK for a few hours if we want to so I'm comforting myself with that.

I think that was a different situation as it was the first day of Star Wars Weekends and there were rumors George Lucas would be there. I took off work that day just because of the rumors and I'm sure a lot of other people did the same thing.

I am curious as well. We are planning a MK day 5/2 and just found out that the dedication ceremony is that same day. I am excited to see it but also dreading the increase in crowds. We have dinner at BOG so I think we will be fine there. And a BBB appointment right before that.

We have MK planned for May 1. Will this affect us at all? I know the dedication is May 2, but doesn't the media event start April 30? Are there any closures planned for the other days that we know of?? (Besides Pirates )

You can check the times for each attraction on the disney website for your date to see if there are any time changes.

We are headed to MK on May 2nd. My little girl turns five that week and I've had reservations at BBB in the castle that morning and dinner at CRT for 6 months. No way we can change. I just hope things won't be too crazy.

New Fantasyland will be "slammed" that afternoon after the Dedication,but later in the day,I don't think it will be any worse than "normal".

I was just on there checking them, and they now say they will open at 11am.
Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor doesn't open until 1pm.

I wonder why MI isn't open til 1??? Any ideas?
