Just excited for my DLR trip, and my first time staying at HOJO's. Maybe I'll be able to understand why this forum is so CRAZY for them!


It's also exciting cuz me, disneyLOVE, shyboy, and wazowskiLOVER are on a mission: to bring the disney magic to a cousin that hasn't had it in a while.

Shyboy72, my other cousin, and I will be driving from the bay area. I think that TheAXIOM and disneyL0VE are going to be in LA so their dad will just drop them off. I'm hoping that the grapevine won't be a total wreck by Saturday.

We're going to leave here from San Jose at 3 am. Lets hope it helps !

Totally understand the budget - I got a new job as a christmas present after being laid off for 11 months - when you overspecialize your profession, it has pros and cons.....

We can definitely meet up just to say hi! You guys will be having a pace that, being old foggies with little kids, we just can't keep up!

Kerri - if you are still on this thread, we can still have a counter lunch if the rest of the gang can't join!

The BB idea was to try to give them another chance. I haven't eaten there since the very bad service experience we had when they first reopened from the remodel. They actually were fairly cold and pretentious to us - like we shouldn't have toddlers in the place.

I was actually going to do it last week, when we spent 4 days there, but we missed our ressie, due to the candy cane/Guy Fieri taping delays. My goal was to do a review audition for the podcast team, as they are looking for some DL correspondents.

We're cool with whatever food everyone decides on - we're pretty broke ourselves, until the money comes in from my new job, which starts on the 12th. (Glad we own DVC to make stays like last week's possible!)

So, what about doing Rancho? Or RBT? Those both have outdoor seating so if Jasmine and crew can meet us they can either bring their own food in or just hang out with us? I don't know what the weather is projected to be though...Ohhhh, I know, what about the soup bowls at the place by Pirates? I've never had one so I don't know what it's called but people here rave about them.
