Seuss Trolley Ride

The 7:00 AM is NOT a typo. After the park opening, they will probably offer soft opening for non-passholders those day but I'm not sure how that will work.

Ahh.. 7am-9am. Looks like I'll be hitting up the Sunday preview. Will anything else be open at 7am or just the Trolly? Also, are only passholders and their guests going to be entering the park at 7am? TY.

I doubt that anything else will be open but I honestly don't know. Yes, only passholders and their guests will be able to enter. But sometimes the turnstiles do open earlier than 9:00 AM so I wouldn't be surprised if they let other guests in as early as 8:45 AM. Whether they let them ride or not, I don't know.

crap, I read on another post it was 7am-9pm. I called the AP line and was told all of Seuss Landing will be open from 7-9 for the preview.

I hate waking up early, but this has been a seven year wait.

Sorry about that. I just typed it wrong and didn't notice until you pointed it out. It is 7-9 AM.

That's good to know. Thanks for the info.

Well you seem to keep the same hours as I do. I see you posting late at night just like me. Maybe you'd be better just to stay up all night. ;)

Well shoot we will miss the preview
We are arriving late on the 19 for a TKD tournament that starts on the 21. I was only allowing us one full day at US/IOA since this will our 3 (or is it 4) trip this yr andi t will only be DD and me.
Crazy me is even staying off site to save some $$.So I am hoping for soft openings and fairly short lines on the 20

the girls may not need their beauty sleep, but I sure do. we got the AP flyer today, confirming the the fact I've got to wake up way early Friday.

oh well, aside from the TM's I'll be among the very first to see the only hidden Dr. Seuss in the world. it's going to be another great day at Universal. :)

There's a good chance they may be doing soft openings.

I'll also be able to go online from the motel in Kissimmee, so I'm depending on you folks to keep me abreast of what is going on LOL. Each day we should be done at the tournament by 3-4, so I can always run over to IOA.

If anyone likes watching competitive martial arts, we'll be at Silver Spurs Arena Heritage Park Thurs-Sat. Thursday is forms, Fri-point Sparring, Sat-Olympic Sparring.

I rode the Sky Trolley several times. It is a nice fun ride. It is perfect for families with young kids or adults that love Seuss. I enjoyed it a lot. The ride is a slow smooth ride similar to TTA but with cooler things to see. Be sure to ride it more than once. You see different things depending on which of the two tracks you go on. Each track has two different stories also, so you can see and experience 4 different storylines. It is kind of a cross between Cat and the Hat and TTA. But I'm one of those kind of people that enjoy riding the TTA to relax and unwind even though I also love thrill rides. It didn't seem to last as long as TTA but it's hard to tell as I didn't time it, just rode and took in the sites. I do love the storylines and seeing the Seuss characters come to life. If you like Cat in the Hat, I think you will enjoy this ride.

Are there different lines for each track?? Or if you've already been on one do you just ask for the other when you arrive to the front of the line.

Is it a quick loading ride like TTA or do you like the line will get backed up??

Thanks!!

There isn't a seperate line for both sides but I am sure you can request the other side if you have already ridden on one side. It loaded fast today but there is no way I can tell how long the wait may be as it hasn't opened officially yet.

Thanks for the description/update ..... we appreciate it! :grouphug: Looking forward to riding in a couple of weeks! :hyper:

I'm a TTA fan, so I'm sure I'll enjoy this one, I hope so at least.

Looks like I'm off to morning previews for tomorrow morning, if I can wake up.

our alarm is set for 6:00, this had better be good. ;) at least we'll be in the park before it opens and in prime position to knock out some rides early.
