I don't want to give to much away. when you get to the top of the queue, there are two sides, even though it's one continuous track. on your left is the beach track, on your right is the star track. the star track enters right into Circus McGurkus. both sides have two different audio tracks, so you get four different stories from the ride. they did soft openings all day when we there, but were running some trains empty at times. there was no official standby time for the soft opening, but I heard thirty minutes from a couple of TM's.

Moose Juice, Goose Juice is open, but the Honk Honkers store and Green Eggs and Ham are still closed. the outdoor views on the track are pretty cool.

Wow! Your pictures are awesome. You really captured some great shots. Looks fun, was it? Was it worth the wait? Not the line wait the years it took to finally open.

Its funny, as wacky and different as the trains look, they still really resemble the old DL peoplemover trains.

Anyway, it looks like some very different pics can be taken from that ride. Good Job!

I agree with Slacking on this. the story of the Sneetches is one of my favorite Dr. Seuss stories. the queue tells the story, but once you get on the trains it's hard to keep up. the beach side will either play the 'Dr. Seuss's ABC's', or 'And to Think That I Saw It on Mulberry Street' audio track and finish with the Sneetches. younger kids might not be able to follow along at points.

but the views are great from above and below. it was nice sitting on the balcony at Burger Digs and watching the trains in the distance. it's good to see the island complete.

Was the track there back in February? I remember seeing the station exit, but not the track. Is the ride just a steady journey around Suess Landing, or is there more to it.

Great views from up there.

Great pics. Not sure whether this is something we will enjoy but it looks like you get some good views from up there. I agree, it's nice to see Seuss Landing finally complete :teeth:

Parts of the old track were being changed/removed to the new track, so that could be why you didn't see parts of it.

I was there on Saturday morning and rode it. They did a passholder preview. The park opened at 7am and there were a lot of people there to ride. I rode it twice, one on each side. I got a POV and some pictures. I'm making one of my web pages.

The ride is fun, and I'm sure it will be a hit with everyone. It's 3 minutes long, but seems to be over in a flash.

Wow nice pics

I would love to take tons of pictures while riding. Great view of this colorful island.

:thumbsup2

Since the Sneetches is one of my absolute favorite Dr Seuss stories I am excited to do this one. I have a feeling every time you ride it you'll see something new for a while.

For anyone that hasnt read the story its a good one and ties well into the ride. http://staff.bcc.edu/jalexand/Reading-1-9A--Seuss-The_Sneetches.htm

It took them 8 years to fix this thing?

actually seven, IOA opened in '99. there's a myriad of reasons it's taken so long to open. I'm just happy it's finally happened.

Very Nice pics, I can't wait til I am there to try it :cool1:
