During our trip to DW in May we made the plunge into DVC with 150 points at SSR. We signed the papers on May 16th and were given a closing date of July 1st. We have not heard anything from DVC as of yet. Am I being to anxious wondering if everything is okay, or should I have heard something by now. Thanks for any help or information.

You should give your Guide a call and ask them what's happening with your purchase. They will be able to fill you in on where things stand.

Simple answer: call DVC.

There were reports of a backlog in closings. But the answer to your question will vary for every "ownership interest" they sell. Too many factors to list.

While it may not be there yet, you can also check to see whether your deed has been recorded with Orange County.

Thanks, I did check to see if the deed was recorded, it has not been. I appreciate the suggestions, and will be calling my guide tomorrow.

Call MS, at least that's what I did.

I bought SSR in June with settlement date of July 19th. And I called yesterday to see if it is settled, and the rep told me it was settled on time.

Don't wonder... Call MS and see what they have to say...
