Settle my favorite character debate...

I am getting ready for a WDW & DCL vacation with my family. I asked them all what their favorite characters were so I could make them custom luggage tags, magnets, etc. My mom asked what my favorite character was. I really couldn't answer. I love so many, I can't really pick out a favorite. I finally said "Walt Disney." He is a personal hero of mine and I have a deep admiration of him and his amazing vision that brought forth ALL of these characters.

She said that was cheating and I couldn't pick him because he's not a "character."

What do you all think? It my choice legit or a cheat?

I'm with your Mom. It should be someone created by someone on paper/film.

Just pick one out of the many you like and be done with it.

I usually say Jiminy Cricket, but I don't know that he's really my favorite, you know?

I vote Walt! Why not? There are no rules here. It is all about having fun! Wear a suit and walk around holding a Mickey Mouse's hand. Or do him as a train engineer. There are other options, too! Maybe get a recording of his voice to play.

Walt was a real human being, I don't think you should be allowed to pick him either. If you find that you can't pick one than break them down into categories, that's what I like to do.

Hey, you do you! If you want Walt to be your favorite character, then no one should stop you! After all, if it wasn't for him, there wouldn't be any "characters" for the rest of us to like!

If you can't pick Walt, pick Mickey. Walt was the first person to voice Mickey so you'd get your way.
