Well this is my 1st ever trip report although I have gone 7 times, twice with the help of these boards. Wish me luck!
Who went? Me and my DH, both around the 30 year age mark. We have no kids.
We stayed at ASMo for the 2nd time and this time flew down on NW Airlines.
It was our best Dis trip ever!
It started with a plane flight after I got off of work on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. Now I HATE to fly and I just knew we were all going to die. However after a Dramamine pill I just knew we were all going to be horribly maimed. See, these pills do work.
We got in at midnight and the first thing I noticed was the palm trees! And how the voice on the tram in the airport is the same voice on the monorail. Cool! The 2nd thing I noticed was that it was COLD! We could see our breath. Got our Mears shuttle and started talking to everyone. Everybody was excied as we were. We got to see the Big Ball with the Mickey hand as we drove, and some of the Christmas decorations at the different resorts as the shuttle dropped everyone off.
ASMo was getting their wreaths put up and there was no one in the lobby. It was now 1am and I'd been up since 5am. We got checked in with no problem, I'd heard it could be a porblem so late at night, and we got out room in Fantasia 2000 building. We were in the back, so we had a quiet view, and on the top floor. As we walked to our room we noticed the pool steaming in the cold. Wow.
Our room had a king sized bed and a fridge which we didn't have to pay for. This is the 2nd time that has happened. I guess the rooms with the king bed all have a fridge built in. Everything was so familliar to us we felt like we were at home!

Sounds like everything is going well for your first night. I would like to stay at the All Star Movies once. I hear it's really cute!
