My wife had a successful surgery last January...she's recovering well, but yesterday had a slight setback (needs sometimes to use a wheelchair or walker) We're going to the parks 3/ 7-9 and while she can walk (slowly) do you think she can get a guest assistance pass? is there any kind of shorter line for handicap access?...she has a placard for the car, but doubt that would help in US / IOA...any advice, she really wants to try some rides and walk around the parks

Only other way to cut back in line waits or assisted pass is to book a private park tour

The assistant card for those with physical needs still have some line waits

Are you sure you don’t want to rent an ECV? It’s a lot of walking and not all level ground. I had a temp issue last month and am athletic but I got an ECV for my trip and was happy I did! I didn’t do any rides anything at Universal, but I did experience at Disney there’s usually handicapped entrances to rides when using an ECV and they are generally more accommodating in these situations even if you don’t have a disability pass or card. At universal I did go on the Harry Potter train and because they ECV needs to use elevators we skipped a large portion of the line. If she’s slow getting around right now an ECV is something to consider. If you want more information on where I rented and what I paid lmk
