I hope that everyone is feeling better tonight & that no one else has come down with the icky bug. Th flu this year is nasty! I get a flu shot because of my asthma so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that that'll be enough to keep me from getting it!

I think it's a good idea

to choose a place & approx date for a Ya-Ya meet so that people have time to plan ahead........any thoughts?
There is a Riddle meet tenatively planned in July at Cedar Point if anyone is interested in it....I know a few Ya-Ya's are also Riddlers

Blech! My house is full of stinky smoke!!
My wonderful 10 yo DS was making Easy Mac, and put the noodles in the microwave but FORGOT TO ADD THE WATER!!!! So, we had some nice black, stinky smoke billowing about. ICK!! The smell is gonna make me nauseous!

Hey, do you have to be a riddler to go to CP? I only live 30 minutes from there!

DD had a very boring day at "school", but got to hang with all her old teachers.

Got some sad news though. One of her "kinda" friends from high school who is now a sophomore at the University of Washington and a star basketball player (on scholarship) went into cardiac arrest on NYE and luckily some of the girls with her knew CPR...and used it and saved her life.
She is having surgery today to insert a defibrillator. Not sure the extent of the problem or damage yet.

Sherry a friend of mine had to put a note on the microwave cause her kids kept forgetting the water. I know Kevin wil so the same so we don't buy it.

OMG, the burnt smell is awful! Any tips on how to get it out of here? And out of the microwave?? I can't stand it!

The boys have been making Easy Mac alot...can't believe he forgot the water this time.

I'm hoping to make it to a few meets this year, too!

I sure wish I lived anywhere but here in Florida. Im so far away from anyone and it keeps me from being able to meet people. I fear it will keep me from the yaya meet too. I am DEATHLY afraid to fly. There is just no way short of anesthetic to get me on a plane. When you live up north so many places are within driving distance. In Florida it takes you a day just to get out of the state!

Yikes Nancy that is soooooo scary. Those defibrillators work well though. We have a few patients with them.

You might try to put baking soda in a bowl and leave it on the counter. Won't work for awile but its better than having the windows open.

Nancy thats so sad to hear about your dd's friend but she was lucky she was with people that knew what to do.
