I like the way you said it was a relaxing time Elaine, I'm going to tell Roland that - he loves the idea it won't be too crowded, we were worried about that for our March trip.

I have a friend desperate to dye my hair for me, the grey's driving her crazy! But I'd hate to have to keep redying it, such a pain...

This is the Ya Ya meet vote count as of now....DISCUSSION??? We said Ohio because it is the most central spot...is everybody ok with that or should we "explore all of our options"?
Everybody seems ok with July at this point DISCUSSION?? So I am going to take the leap to say let's set the date as July 18th-21st. That gives us a day on either side of the weekend . Long enough? Too long? Date ok?
Good idea Betty had in the middle of the night last night for all of the Ohio Ya Yas to give us input on their parts of the world so we can decide exactly where to go. I think..jmho...that we would be missing a huge amount of fun if we didn't get a house or cabin that we could all be in together. And withthe noise i have a feeling this crowd will generate, we will just get kicked out of a hotel anyway sooooo....ideas Ohio ya Yas??

Yikes! Jodie picks the one weekend that may or may not be good for me. I didn't realize when I said it didn't matter what day that the 19th is on a weekend. DD birthday. Doesn't mean I couldn't make it for part of the time. Sorry about that, but don't work arounf me. I am close enough to OH to make a good part of it. We should work around the schedules of the people ding the major traveling.

Oh and I forgot to say earlier....Could this be moving day????

Morning all... Luis and I were watching movies last night so I cut out early.

That date sounds fine but I doubt I would be there for the whole weekend, epecially if it is in Ohio. It would have to depend on what is going on with my work and some stuff like that. Usually right about summer I can pretty much guess which dates I can afford to take off, but I can warn you now that we have some union people who's contract will be ending there and there is already talk of a strike So I may be a weekend only person at that point. But of course don't pick something like that because of me because it won't matter when you pick that might happen, and I would be able to do a day or a weekend trip at the very least.

I did see Carol mention about crowds during that time, they were very very minimal. I think the longest wait I ever saw was on a Saturday at AK for that new roller coaster ride there Primeval Whirl and I also saw a 20 minute wait for RnR at 4 PM on a Friday.

Ummm I tried to look at the rest but I sort of got lost so if I missed something do tell me!

Oh yeah, where are we going to move. I'm for our own deserted island in the tropics somewhere myself!

I will know more about the date once I know about the promotion. The promotion means no weekends! YAY! If I don't get it, the 19 and 20 would be my weekend to work.

Many of the state parks in Ohio have lodges and cabins for rent. Problem is that they are very popular and sometimes difficult to find availability. If we go that route, we need to make a decision quickly, figure out how many are coming, and work on reservations.

Good Morning YaYa's! Whew! What a mothy bunch last night. I tried to get on, but the boards were slow, then my puter locked up and I had to shut down. Didn't have enough energy to reboot. I need a new hard drive.
