Debbie, that is Joseph Fiennes--played William Shakespeare in Shakespeare in Love. I'm a sucker for a British accent and blue eyes too.

Hi Elaine!! Congrats on the new phone! I'm up for Ohio as long as nobody tells any of my relatives I'm visiting in the state!! I just don't have enough vacation time!!! Must keep our priorities in line--the Dis comes first and that means Ya Yas!!!

Jeannie, I didn't know about the new museum in Cincy. Grew up there and loved visiting the art and natural history museums. And the Krohn Conservatory too. Yes, if we are near Cincinnati, we need to try to see the museum!

Well, gotta get up early for church tomorrow and I still have a load of laundry to put away, so I'd better say good night now. Looks like we'll be moving in another couple of days, too. Are we still headed for that tropical island?

Sleep well with sweet dreams, everybody!!

Funk free funk free funk free..... oh! :o That's dangerous!!

But but..... finally I'm able to make this fantasy a reality and I do it in OHIO!?!? Sigh... ok ok... Ohio it is! I suppose it doesn't really matter where it is, as long as I get to see my YaYa buddies. :p Oh... I'm not a coaster person either... no way... nuh uh... not even will anyone ever get me on one of those things!! Sooooo.... that means ya'll won't be able to talk about my footwear because I'll be there gossiping about how silly Tankdork looks in her Thanksgiving Day parade costume...
*what on Earth made her think to wear that HERE?!?!* :o

I know it seems like I only quote Kim...her sig just catches my eye...I'm weak...
:p Well, that's one way to get your posts noticed. :teeth: I know I haven't missed one of Jeannie's in weeks. Must be her colorful tags that get my attention.

Images of me? Oh ick. Can't you just IMAGINE what I look like and come up with something perfect that way? I'm 5'7"/ 110 pounds/loooong blonde hair/legs that go up to here/big blue eyes.... *bats her eyelashes* ....

GP!!! Who is that?!?!?! Want us to sic Tripod on you?! Oh wait... never mind... we ate Tripod. :o

Hi Beth! 'Night Beth! :)

I do? Twice a week? I hope I get a nice paycheck for this (and not in quarters or other coins. Good ol US funds, thank you). After all, I *do* have a vacation to pay for. ;) Man, if I'm that entertaining to you all, you are *starved* for some kind of entertainment!!

Hey, I noticed everyone has cabin "attendant" but me. I remember mine being tricked and dropped off the ship a while back, but *somehow* everyone else got to keep theirs. I'd like to have mine back. Gimme, gimme, gimme. The same ones, thank you very much. Stacy and Natalie. You all remember them. I know you do. :)

Hello everyone. I am back from the movie.

Here is my review.

I walked into this movie having no idea about the story line. I was familiar with the songs and the Fosse choreography. The story held my attention. Now for the casting.

Catherine Zeta Jones was fantastic. The girl can really sing.

Renee Zellwiger(I know that I have mispelled her name but who cares) She has a nice voice but she is way too skinny. Some of the costumes were too big for her around the chest. Notice I say chest and not breast. Anyway, she made Catherine Zeta Jones look fat. She did a nice job with her part.

Richard Gere was Ok. I didn't care for his singing but it was acceptable. If I were the producer, I might have casted his part differently.

Overall, the movie was entertaining. However, it seemed that every musical number seemed to be a big production. I guess I like to see some numbers be a little more subdued and others a big production. I love the theatre and I love musicals so this was a good movie. I will probably buy it when it comes out on CD, because of the music. I will also buy the soundtrack. All the songs were great with the exception of me not liking Richard Gere singing voice(very nasal sounding) although I could look at his body for a while. The man has aged very nicely.

This is just my opinion. I will now catch up on the last 7-8 pages.

I just saw that the Ya Ya meet looks like it may happen in Ohio.

Fine with me. I believe that we have 4 Ya Yas in Ohio. Elaine is near Columbus, Bonnie is near Toledo, I think Sherry is between Toledo and Cleveland(correct me about the location) and I am in Cincinnait.

Should each of us Ya Yas research what is exciting about our area and report back here to share what our little part of Ohio has to offer?

 Hi Betty!!
Richard Gere is nice to look at, isn't he?

I'm bored!

Where's Jeannie?

I'm here, I'm here...but I have to pee.

Be back!:)
