This is probably a really stupid question but if you havent got half board vouchers can you eat from the set menus.

For example the burger, brownie and drink at annettes for 19.90 can anyone order that or is that just the menu for half board?

or

The silver spur starter, main and dessert for 29.00

You get my drift?

Yes you can do the annettes set meal, all of the table service restaurants do set menus (its very common in France) its just some places (e.g. Walts) have menus just for half board vouchers :)

Right so we can eat any of the set menus unless they specifically say half board on them? Is that right?

So the above two places we can have the set menus? They seem much cheaper than buying things individually.

The half board symbol will appear on a lot of the set menus but this doesnt mean they are half board only - it is just suggesting that this will be covered by the voucher in full. If you are given a menu and it has this on it means you can order it .
the exceptional restaurants that have a separate menu for half board have it separate anyhow and you wont be given this unless you ask for it or tell the waiters you have vouchers so assume if you are given a menu you can order whatever you want off it

Right I get what you mean. So basically when we get the menu with the set menu on it, we can order from it. Great, some of the set menus I think are very good value. :yay:

Thanks for that, it was probably a bit of a stupid question.

Not at all! I think the set menus are great value for menu too!:goodvibes

Mmmmmm they are just the best! Will do a trip report and restaurant reviews just as soon as I get my assignment out of the way :sad2: - but just to say we will definitely be returning to Annettes, and would definitely have the set menu again (and the Silver Spur is fab too!) :thumbsup2
