Set a date! and a few questions

So my fiance and I have been engaged for a little over a year now, but haven't planned anything because we want to wait until I'm done school. I'll be done with my bachelor's by this time next year, and my school also offers a 10 month master program.. so I might go for that. ANYWAY, its all online, we both work full time and live together so I've just kind of been poking around for a date so I can start planning and when someone asks when it is, I'll actually have an answer haha.

So, he asked me what I wanted for Valentine's Day (I honestly don't care too much for this "holiday") I just said, I want us to decide on a date, it would be the best present ever and you wouldn't have ot worry about getting me anything haha. So we decided on October 19th 2009, pretty much right when school ends or a month before it ends. I'm so excited!!

He definitly wants a Disney wedding, and we wouldn't be having any guests or anything, just us, then our honeymoon and a reception when we get home. Too many people would want to stay the same week we're there for our honeymoon... which normally wouldn't bother me.. but it's our honeymoon, you know?

Anyway, I called a few weeks ago just to inquire about Disney weddings and they said they would send a planning kit and that it would take 5-7 days.. but it's almost been a month haha, so I'm just anxiously waiting that. Our other plan was to just find a really pretty (maybe outdoor) location near Disney to get married, if it would be cheaper, then just have our honeymoon. But the price quotes I got from some places, even for the most basic of packages were too high and some a little higher than Disney's Escape wedding, which they told me was $4500.

Looks like it's time to start saving haha.


As for my questions..
I've tried to get a picture of my engagement ring on that one thread, but it won't let me. The only thing I see is reply to a post, but then it never lets me post it. Am I doing something wrong? I've never been that good with message boards haha.
Also, for the planning journals, what kinds of things would I write in them, etc?

I'm just really excited and can't wait!! We're going to Disney for a vacation in April and I just wish it would hurry up and come already

You'll have to keep us posted with all the details, plans, pictures etc.

Talking of pictures you need a minimum of 10 posts before you can put a picture on so do a few replies and you'll be set
