Has anyone been to one of the Sesame Steet Live shows? There is one here in about a month and I was thinking about taking DS to it. However, the cost will be around $50-60 for the 3 of us and I was not entirely sure if it was worth it.

DS is 1 1/2 and while has a decent attention span for a kid his age I am just afraid that he won't sit still long enough to make it worth it.

Any experiences out there?

Thanks!

Becka, I have taken both of my kids to it, the first time my oldest was 4 years old. I took my youngest around the same age, but both times I saw parents with younger kids that were crying because the noise scared the heck out of them.
I guess it all depends on the kids , in our case I waited because they come here every year.

We began taking DD at that age. She really liked the shows.

This year (they always come at the beginning of the year) will be our first year of not going. She has moved on to "adult" type plays Lion King. She would still like to go, but everything is so expensive.

One suggestion is that we got the tickets at the box office so we could see the floor seating chart (they did not have it on line). We would get a front seat or an end side seat. She frequently got her head patted, dance and hugged the characters.

Becka,

We took DD to Bear in the Big Blue House at 16mo and Sesame Street Live at 2. She loved both shows and she's not a kid that likes noise at all. What worked for us was having front row balcony seats. It's much quieter up there and you can see everything but not be in the thick of things. I don't think she'd have enjoyed it had we been on the main floor.

We went. The kids enjoyed it. If I had to do over again at the time, I thought I either wouldn't go or just pay for ONE parent to go, because of the cost. The souveniers were pretty pricey, too.

We hadn't been to WDW at that time. I think now I'd just skip it.

Are you able to use an Entertainment Card discount coupon for cheaper tickets?
