Since you have to mix the pasta with the sauce prior to serving, how do I get it from the pot to the dishes?

I have a large scoop with "prongs", so it gets both the sauce and the pasts easily. Or - use the traditional fork & spoon combo, using a gravy ladel to get additional sauce.

I did this with shrimp alfredo.......but presented it in a large oblong bowl.......with a big spoon and a large serving fork.......it helped them to serve themselves.......how many are you feeding

I mix it in the pot that I boiled the noodles in, then I put it all on a serving platter and serve it with tongs. It looks pretty if you sprinkle a little chopped, fresh parsley over the top.

There will be a total of five people - I've had the computer to myself this evening so I made up menu cards to put on everyone's dish prior to our meal with food quotes. Everyone will also have a small christmas tin filled with christmas candy at their
place at the table.

Wow....a little aggressive this morning......maybe you should reconsider the fact that it's HER party...and HER FRIENDS who you don't know....and will probably enjoy her quotes.

Thanks! How about "Ahh, the power of cheese"

That might soothe the "meatless" crowd! Your menu sounds great!

Hi,

Your meal sounds great!

I like to use my spaghetti serving fork for pasta dishes. I find tongs hard to handle. You can get a spaghetti fork at Target or a dept. store.

herc.

Darn! I opened this thread thinking you were serving us fettuccine alfredo - my favorite food! ;) :teeth:
